Is there anyone who is kinda glad that he survived? Or do you think he should've gotten the hammer?

Also, do you think he might end up getting retested later like Deoxys-S? And any other thoughts?

Im personally glad they decided to keep him around. He's strong, sure, but he's certainly isnt broken. Also I didnt want them to start thinking my precious Mega Fluffeh was too strong.

Very close to being banned though. 57.3% voting for Metagrossite being Uberified. With it being so closed to being banned, I wouldn't be surprised to see it suspect tested again.

To be honest though, I don't really have a big opinion of whether or not it should be banned. I haven't used or faced M-Metagross very often, especially since I haven't really been laddering recently.

^This. I've seen about one Megagross on Battle Spot, and that's it. I don't know much about how broken it is. Honestly, it's nowhere near Megamence levels, since it doesn't have a completely broken ability and stat combination IMO. Not heard much of it, either.

About time the whiners lost, and I'm sincerely glad that M-Metagross gets to stick around. He'll probably get retested again, which at that time (whenever that may be) the whiners will unfortunately win. For now though, a toast to Metagross!

He is a powerful Pokémon for sure, but I don't think that he needs to be banned to ubers. I'm glad that they kept him around because of how awesome he can be for a team.

Also, there are so many Megas, there isn't enough room for a Metagross on every team.

MegaGross isnt exactly broken like MegaMence is. Its just a really good Pokémon. I dont see it much on BS either, but I'm more of a 6v6 guy anyways.

I'm also glad he wasn't moved to Ubers. Simply put he just isn't as OP as the complainers are making him out to be.

I've even seen Knock Offs do big damage do Megagross. Honestly if you don't have some kind of counter for it then you might need to reevaluate your team; it's not that OP if you actually have a well balanced team. I agree, definitely not broken at all.

I also agree with @[member="Gengar's Grin"], I haven't come across many Megagrosses as well. But the ones that I have came across, I knew how to handle them also.

I'm glad that the #NoBan side won. It was very very VERY close, but in the end me (Along with the rest of the no ban crew) finally overthrew everyone who voted ban.

So for now 3 cheers for Mega Supercomputer! You live to stay in Over Used for another day!

I'm planning on using Megagross... seems cool.
Also, if they ban Mega Sableye, Slowbro or Lopunny, (Lord knows at least one of those will be tested within the next few months) then I riot.

There's actually some talk about suspecting Mega Sableye. I will also riot if he gets banned.

Then, my Sableye brother, we have a crisis on our hands. We shall unite the Sablearmy from across the globe, and flood Smogon's voting system with votes against this insurgence. Only then can Sableye users everywhere sleep peacefully at night.
Even if I mainly use Leftovers Sableye

The tiering system of Smogon is meant to remove Pokémon that overcentralize a metagame, and it's understandable why Mega-Metagross was put into suspect testing. Not only is usage high, but so is its power and versatility. I don't have a real opinion on "ban"/"no ban" either way, but this is a similar case to Scizor before Gen VI--high usage and incredible power. The difference here is the abundance of dark-type moves and a changed type table. Mega Metagross does have counters and checks, though they are fewer than some are willing to admit. The counters and checks are, however, rather common in the metagame--examples include Landorus-Therian and Sableye with Prankster.

Both sides of the coin are very understandable, but I think the ban system of Smogon may be missing a little bit of the concept--bans are supposed to be placed on overcentralizing Pokémon/items/etc, not on things that annoy battlers because they don't pack something against it.

Hooray, Now something can stick around in OU to OHKO Evolite Chansey and not get banned to Ubers :D Seriously, if this thing didn't stick around I would never be able to deal with Evolite Chanseys. Hammer Arm ftw. He is powerful, but he has plenty of weaknesses to exploit, especially with the Gen 6 steel nerf (which is why Magnet rise is a thing).

MegaGross isn't that OP to survive in Ubers anyways, keeping on OU was a good idea :)
It certainly isn't gross to have him back here...

I wanted it to get the boot badly. The only reason why I say that is because I always bend over backwards to find a counter for this thing, and it's annoying to say the least. (For me anyways.)

I think it will be retested down the line. At least I hope.

To be honest, I never thought it deserved to be moved into Ubers. As has been said, it is a very strong Pokémon, but their are actually uses for Metagross outside of mega, which I've seen work extraordinarily well (Assault Vest, anyone?). True, it's frightening if you have no clue how to counter it, but honestly it can fall pretty easily if you're ready. Fire, Ground, Dark and Ghost being it's weaknesses, you're more likely than not to be able to counter the thing, considering how those attacking types are pretty common.

Congrats to you M-Metagross! Drink a well-earned glass of techno-champaigne!

I didn't really care if it stayed or not, but the main reason I didn't want it to get banned was because it'd be hard to determine what would happen after it would get the boot. People thought it was the only offensive check to Fairy-types but there's surely more to it than that.

Scizor is a solid offensive check to Fairies... but I digress.

M-Metagross has tons of moves that it could abuse, but not enough moveslots. Agility/Hone Claws are good s et-up moves, Meteor Mash and Zen Headbutt are STABs, Bullet Punch is priority, Hammer Arm for Ferro, EQ for Heatran, and Grass Knot for Slowbro. 4 MSSS is strong with this one. :P
