Umm, hello. My name is Issy (but you can just call me Cephei, or EtherealHaze. I don't mind which you choose to refer me by), and I'm a 20 year-old Pokefan from Australia. And really shy Pokefan at that, so sorry if I come across really awkward and nervous ^^; I've been a fan of the franchise for around 10 years now, and I started my Pokémon journey with Sapphire on the GBA, where I chose Torchic as my starter. I'm a huge fan of Gen 3 and 5, but I also love gen 7 as well. My most loved types are Fairy, Steel, and Fighting, and my favourite Pokémon are Virizion, Incineroar, Blaziken, Snivy, and Samurott. All of them are tied as my absolute favourite, as there is no way I could chose just one out of them! I also love Raikou, Spritzee, Salazzle, Jolteon, Black Kyurem, Empoleon, Kartana, Golisopod, and Midnight Lycanroc. In other words, I love a lot of Pokémon. I mostly play the games, but I also collect Pokémon plushies as well. I actually have over 100 in my collection! Besides Pokémon, there are many other things I like. Some of these things include: Game of Thrones, Shingeki No Kyojin (AoT), music (especially Metal and Rock), and any sort of retro-futurism (I'm especially fond of Dieselpunk and Atompunk). Oh, and I also draw. I mostly post my art on my Pokecharms account (under the username EtherealHaze), but I might post some of it here someday as well! Who knows. My favourite things to draw are Fakemon, animals, and creepy monster concepts. So, uh, yeah. That's all really. I can't wait to explore these forums, as they look quite interesting and fun, and I hope to see you all around! Cheers. PS. Sorry if this intro is a bit long. As in the star? You have my interest. There's nothing wrong with a long intro - nothing wrong at all, actually! Those are usually preferable, because immediately those reading it have a very good idea of what you're like; sometimes without one it's hard to figure out what somebody is like, or even his or her interests. I suppose I'm a little late to the party, since I open this topic to find you already have fifteen posts, but that's probably a good sign as you've dived right into the forums and seem to be enjoying it very much - which is good! From that I assume you have a favourable first impression. And I have a weird feeling I may have seen the screenname 'EtherealHaze' in passing while on a Google Images search - but I don't know for sure. There are a lot of artists here on LV and they love to bounce ideas off each other; I see them both in the Art Corner section (on the forum) and in the #art channel on our Discord server. The work I've seen put out by everyone has been rather beautiful to witness. Wow I wasn't expecting this many people to comment on my thread, but thanks for the welcomes! Yep, you're correct about the username (also sorta inspired by the song "HR 8938 Cephei" by deadmau5 as well) And yeah, I am really enjoying the forums so far. The layout is super nice, and unlike a lot of other forums I've used in the past, it works well on mobile.

A forum working on a mobile platform is a rare thing, come to think of it! There's been a lot of work done here to make sure it loads smoothly on a device - given how a lot of people nowadays access the Internet through a smartphone. (I'm not one of them - desktop for life - but I can appreciate the effort!)
