So you think you can dance?

I am not the most coordinated of people, I've tried swing dancing, contra dancing, square dancing and the waltz... Couldn't pick up any of those.

I know a couple of simple line dances, like the Cotton Eyed Joe. But that's it.

 

One time I stepped on a spider and babies spread out everywhere and I had to tap dance to kill them all, does that count?

 

Oooh, I can do the Macarena!

No, seriously. I do jazzdance for a sport (I've been doing it for ten years now) and I've got a pretty great sense of rhythm, so I guess I can dance. I don't like going to parties though, so I never have a chance to show off my fabulous moves.

 

Contra dancing is a bit like square dancing, only everyone is in a straight line and you don't swap partners... It's been awhile since I did contra or square dancing.

 

I like dancing, but when nobody's around. Either because they'll judge me or make unnecessary comments. That is guaranteed. I can dance in anyway, as dance is a compulsory topic across all Australian Curriculums.

 

I love to dance! I mean I'm somewhat awful at it, but hey. Practice makes perfect! I love following choreography and all that jazz (and different genres). There's so much versatility to dance that's it's kind of hard not to love it. It's honestly just really fun. I highly recommend it, even if you're not too good at it!
