something I found in Magma's Base

    I'm not sure what to make of this, and I didn't see any posts about it so I decided to make one. Also, since I found this in Team Magma's Base, I'm not sure if this is the same in Alpha Sapphire- if it is, let me know.
    So if you go to Courtney's room in Team Magma's Base, sit in the chair, and check the computer you'll see this:

    'The monitor shows pictures of Maxie with different expressions from different eras.'

    First off, I already get the impression that Courtney is not... well, but this is still pretty creepy; but, more importantly, note the word choice of 'era.' This isn't just a few years, but eras. Not pictures of Maxie in... I dunno his teen years, or as a kid, or sumthin' like that; this is pictures from different time periods.
    Of course the use of the word 'era' could just be a hyperbole and I'm just reading too much into it, but what do you guys think?

    My personal theory is that the pictures are of relatives, like how Lysandre is related to the brother of the king from 3,000 years ago in X/Y

    That is really interesting. And kinda creepy. O_O

    I couldn't find anything like that in Alpha Sapphire, so unless I just missed it I think it's only an Omega Ruby easter egg.

    It could be relatives, though it specifically says "Maxie," not relatives of Maxie or lookalikes of Maxie. That makes me lean towards those pictures form those eras actually being him, which raises some really odd questions.

    As for me, my personal head-canon now is that Maxie is an ancient deity sent to bring back Groudon and cleanse the planet. Everything he said after he failed was a quick cover story, he's just biding his time now. I'm onto you, Maxie. :ninja:

    All I can say is either Maxie is a timelord or they're Photoshopped to make it look like Maxie is in different time periods.

    But yeah this is still really creepy... o_O

    Maybe maxie has a dimension warping PC that gets photos of him from other dimensions, and i found this really funny when i looked back to find it in the base. :P

    I forgot about that... Yeah, that was kind of creepy. My thoughts are that as history repeats itself (like how both Hitler and Napoleon lost because they invaded Russia during winter), that the first Ruby was a different era. Those are pictures of him on gameboy, and on 3DS. That would be two eras, fulfilling the plural part of that.

    Funny that you mentioned the original games, because Game Theory has a video on how the original games are from a different dimension.
    How Matpat explains it is that the original games take place in a dimension where the war in Kalos never happened and there's no such thing as mega evolution. So not eras, but different dimensions- but that's just a theory...

    Or maybe they are just photos from a few decades, haha. He doesn't seem that young to me after all. A decade is 10 years, not like 100...

    I highly doubt Maxie is into cosplaying or roleplaying at that. Maybe Courtney photoshopped it like AuraKnight suggested. It's creepy from all angles.
    Maxie is truly a mysterious man. or maybe... He's an impressionist.

    This is rather interesting, considering the use of "eras". Decades are less weird, but eras..

    Maxie doesn't look that old. maybe it's just a throwback to the old RSE games, since ORAS seems to have a bunch of those. Who knows!

    Era's? Guess technology must have been amazing during Pokémon, or that was a mistake on the creators.
    Maybe an era to Tabitha is when they were in childhood or something?
