Normally, when you play a game, if you are replaying it, you'll do better than you did last time because you know what to expect.

However, there always seems to be that ONE game where you actually do worse the second/third time you play it, even if you havent changed the difficulty.

Like me when I played KH2. The first time I played through, I didnt have too much trouble on Standard difficulty, as I only died about 4-5 times my whole playthrough.. I replayed it some time later, and so far I died 13 times... and I'm only half-way through the game. I have no idea what I'm doing differently. Maybe I'm like a level or two lower than usual?

Who else has a story of somehow doing worse?

My case when I tried to play Mega Man 4 and 5 again after beating all of the bosses; the first time playing through Crystal Man's stage in 5, I didn't die a single time. But when I went back after already knowing what to expect, I died a couple of times and took more damage than usual.

Any FLUDD-less "Secret" level, Blooper surfing, and the Watermelon Festival in Super Mario Sunshine. I did fine on my first times through each mission, but suddenly started having more trouble than usual with them the last time I played.. Oi.
