In an opposite vein to the "Songs that make you emotional" thread, which songs do you listen to that motivate/inspire you or otherwise put you in an excellent mood?
Generally upbeat music, I suppose. Lots of bass in it as well! Golly, I'm all about that bass, but not in the all-too-familiar way that Meghan Trainor would describe it in her song. That said... I suppose a list would do nicely? *AHEM* Spoiler: Le List Initial D - Deja Vu HOME - Resonance Utada Hikaru - Simple & Clean (preferably the KH 2.8 remix) Yoko Shimomura - Traverse Town ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ - Lazy Afternoons Yuki Kajiura - Key of the Twilight Susumu Hirasawa - The Girl in Byakkoya Akiko Shikata - Raggi di Primavera Elwood - Sweet Dreams Malmen & Xyce - Papillons Malmen - Fair Weather Friend Studio Killers - Friday Night Gurus Jontron ft Schmoyoho - Titenic: the JonSong Dmitri Shostakovich - Waltz No. 2 Camille Saint-Saëns - Danse Macabre Beethoven (remixed by Joe Dhirk) - Fur Elise (Dhirk remix) Derek & Brandon Fiechter - Enchanted Ballroom Chances are that this list will expand once I find new songs that put me in a good mood, though. Then again, I suppose that in and of itself is the joy of music, no?
There are many songs that inspire me but there are some of my favourites like Whatever it takes and Believer by imagine dragons,Boulevard of broken dreams (I forgot the singer) and naruto opening song by linkin park. There r many but these are selected ones xD
River flows in you really has a calming feeling that helps me write or do things in general. Now if I want an up beat song. I may fall from the Rwby soundtrack is great for that. Also a lot of boss themes from videogame soundtracks are great for motivation and inspiration.
I don't know if this counts, but I find that when I'm working and I hear a really fun/upbeat song playing, I tend to work a lot more efficiently. As for inspirational songs, well, Almost There did motivate me to land my first high paying job.
I don't know what it is about this song... maybe it's the lyrics, maybe it's the beat, or both. The message that "you're not alone" is a powerful one, as well as motivating and inspirational at the same time.
Literally all the good anime opening songs. There are so many that I can't list them all. Surprisingly, even the sad ones motivate me. Other than that, video game music inspires me a lot too, the one I'm thinking of though is The ones who stand in our way from Xenoblade Chronicles and most of nier automata's sound track.
An uplifting song, mostly for self-explanatory reasons. The lyrics pretty much make this song worth listening to for a positive mood lift. ^^
