Hey, if you're like me, then you've written a few songs over the years. Whether it was to deal with a rough time or just popped in your head the music just popped into your head and the lyrics flowed with it. This has happened to me quite a few times and I would like to share with everyone one of my favorite songs. This is completely original and despite what the lyrics may say I am fine and I was fine when I wrote this. This song often helps me make it through the day and I would love to sing it for the skype group some time.

As I stare down the chasm of death and despair
They all realize that they put me there

I'm leaving this world so lost in shame
And have no one but myself to blame
I spare them the flames so they have a chance
As the darkness pierces like a steel lance

If I'd've known what they would do
I would have reversed it back on you
But the fact of the matter still remains
That I am the damned I'm the one to blame

As I leave this world I cast my flame
There's no reason to hold on to the shame
As I dive into darkness I end the fight
So my world can heal from the bloody night
As I leave this world they turn to see
As I smile at them looking back at me
They beg me to stay but it's time to part
So my war torn world won't be ripped apart
