Good Sonic games?

Sonic 01, 02 and 03.

but when Sonic went 3D... well Sonic 06 and Sonic Boom happened. And that Shadow the hedgehog thing... Black aliens...

 

OOH! I love all of Sonic's games!! I think my favorite is Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Rush, and Sonic Colors (both versions).

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle: I absolutely loooove playing with the chaos in the chao garden. They are soooo adorable <3 Plus, that when my favorite male character came out, Shadow the hedgehog. x3

Shadow the Hedgehog: Well... it's mostly about Shadow. Plus, I love the whole story line for the game and how you get to choose to be the hero or villain x3

Sonic Rush: That's when my favorite all time character appears, Blaze the Cat. 8D

Sonic Colors: I like seeing all of the little aliens during the cutscenes. Plus it was really funny.

 

I never played a lot of Sonic games myself, but what I do know is that a miracle needs to happen to save the franchise at this point. After the disastrous Sonic '06, they already needed a great game to redeem themselves, but they failed horribly at that by bringing us Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, another simply terrible game. I hope they'll still come back from this with an amazing game, but the future doesn't look too bright. Maybe it's time to bury our blue super-speed hedgehog and move on.

 

Well I said to myself if this thread was ever made i have to post on it, cause afterall i am SonicUpdater. Anyways I always enjoyed sonic games that I have played, including the infamous Sonic 06(my guilty pleasure) It was only after sonic generations where I got more critical in terms of what makes a good sonic game. In terms of fun though? No need to be critical there cause I've seemed to be able to have fun no matter what. Sonic lost world was mixed for me, and sonic boom im not really fond of so im not even gonna give it a chance. Next sonic game is a mobile game so idk how to feel about that now, but only time will tell. My favorite sonic game would have SA2 and my other guilty pleasure favorite is the Sonic 4 episode saga.

 

Sonic's an odd case. We've seen some hits and we've seen some misses with Sonic recently. I personally don't get my hopes up for a good Sonic game, but I do remain open-minded. Whether some people like to admit it or not, every once in a while a Sonic game comes out that's actually fun. I still keep interested just in case one comes out that's good.

Plus, it's a breath of fresh air from all the games that star humans. I generally don't have as much fun playing as a creature that resembles something I am already. You can put horns, elf ears or wings on a human, but it's still human to me. Non-humans are different, they're cool, they're unique, and they're bursting with personallity, and as a result I generally have more fun playing as one than I do as some boring ol' human.

 

Your talking to a Sonic competitor player right here. Now I'm normally not a competitive player when it comes to video games but when it comes to Sonic, game on! I'm the type that enjoys beating my records or trying to beat other peoples records on Sonic games and not that but I also try to complete the whole game as well. My favorite Sonic game happens to be Sonic 2. It was my first Sonic game that I've ever played but I've never beaten it when I was a kid. It was until 2011 my friend beaten the game for me. Even though I've played as Tails and I destroyed every boss fight for him such a lazy derp head. For new games I've always enjoyed Sonic Generations it was one of my favorite new games on Sonic.

Favorite characters: Tails, Blaze the Cat and Knuckles.

I don't know if you guys heard but there is a new mobile game coming out called Sonic Runners. It looks rather interesting.

 

I used to like the side-scrolling Sonic Games that I sometimes got the chance to play when I was younger, but Sonic has definitely gone way downhill recently. I don't like the the 3d style because it just doesn't fit. It took Sonic from a fun game to a 3d world that is a puzzle game (Sonic Boom).

My days of Sonic: The Hedgehog are done except for in Super Smash Bros. I had a lot of great early memories, but the games just don't appeal to me anymore.

 

The OG Sonic 1, 2, 3, 3 and Knuckles, Advance series, Battle, Rush series, Adventure series, Heroes, and Colors were all awesome. There were a bunch of spinoffs that were pretty fun too. Unfortunately his games have been lacking in quality during recent years. Shadow the Hedgehog sucked (multiplayer was alright), Secret Rings sucked, Unleashed sucked, '06 sucked, and Boom sucks. Haven't played Black Knight or Generations. So...



I've always liked Sonic. Growing up, his games were consistently good. Now they're either hit or miss. Sega needs to get their act together.

They technically do have their own game. It's Knuckles Chaotix for the Sega 32X. It's... not that great.

 

I'm aware. I mean a more modern game. One that's actually good.

 

I would love to see Sonic Adventure 3. Now that I have my Wii Controller I can finally play my old gamecube games into my Wii. I used to love playing DC.

 

I love Sonic Boom for 3DS...but nothing...i repeat...NOTHING could beat Sonic Adventure 2 Battle in the 2000's.
Angel Chaos Chao are awesome. I looked up how to get one and all the Chaos Chao,then i did the work and got 2 Angel ones (one for me one for my sister) and one Devil Chaos Chao. I still have the game and i want to work on getting the neutral one.

 

The only sonic game I really played was Sonic and the Black Knight and I gotta say that I loved it I've heard about (and seen) way worse sonic games xD

 

Sonic games are amazing, i especially enjoyed Colors and Sonic boom, as well as pretty much all of the classic sonic games like Sonic the hedgehog 1,2,3, & Knuckles. *colors theme plays*
