Simple question, do you usually play the games with the sound turned on or off? What are some of the things that you turn the sound on for if it's not already on?

I will always play with sound on because the music for the games I play is amazing. The only time I don't have the sound on is when I am in a public plays.

The only exception to that rule is during cutscenes. I will turn the sound on during a cutscenes because that music is generally awesome as well.

Usually it's turned on, except for when I'm purely grinding up my Pokémon. Then, I prefer to have my own music playing instead. But in all other cases, the music in Pokémon is too good to just turn off :)

I usually play with the sound off since more than likely I'm playing my own music. I'll turn sound on for evolutions though!

On all the way! Like Sachi and Astral (respectively), I only turn it off for public places and when grinding.

If its a game on the TV, i will occasionally flip out if there is no volume. However, Except for certain games/areas of all handheld games, volume must be off. It not only saves battery, it also means I'm not distracted. However, cut scenes/parts that actually have character voices in dialogue i like listening to. One thing I might actually hit someone for, is if the muted the TV while i was in an Admin battle on Pokémon Colloseum or Gale of Darkness. That music is some of my favorite. Evolution music in Pokémon is something else i Pretty.much always listen to.

I keep the sound on, it allows me to concentrate more.
Unless I feel like listening to music while playing.

I like to play my games with the sound and music on; that way, I feel like I'm more involved into the game x3

I usually have the sound turned on. It's more pleasant.

I keep the sound and music on because the music adds to the experience. That said, if the music is annoying or the characters' voices are nails on a chalkboard bad, I'll turn it off

On if home (usually at a lower volume), off if in public I generally like music with my games, but I can understand the music and sound effects being a nuisance while playing a game in public.

It's always on because the game feels weird otherwise. I'll only ever have it completely off if I'm around family or the like but even then it's usually set to at least have some minimal sound output. The Pokémon experience is best that way. <3

I usually have it off after a while. I feel like I lose concentration when I have it on. I'd rather put on my own music because it doesn't change as much. I mean it gets annoying after getting on and off your bike constantly and soaring everywhere.

I pretty much always have the music on, because the music is just so amazing. I will sometimes play with sound off, and listen to other music, but that's only when I'm hatching Pokémon etc.

I'll keep it on for unless the music is really annoying (bike music) but if i'm playing my DS while my sister is sleeping, I'll play with it off

Well, I used to not use any sound at all. I changed when I got my first pair of headphones and now I can't stop listening to the sound!

I usually keep it on, to the point that my parents complain a lot. I only turn it off when subtlety is needed or for the bike music.
