What are your habits like when it comes to using items and money in video games? Are you the kind of person who will immediately use items and spend money as soon as you get it, or do you hoard your valuables in anticipation of that one moment that you just KNOW is coming when you'll need it?
When it comes to video games, I'm definitely a hoarder. You never know what you'll need items or money for, and spending it all carelessly can end with some frustrating moments in the future.
I usually hoard with video games. It's gotten to the point I will not use any items that might be rare, even if it's the last level, With gaming sites I tend to spend as soon as I get it
Depends on the game. I've trained myself to be balanced when it comes to items, but sometimes I hoard more often than I should.
I'm a complete hoarder. Yes, I know I have 30 revives in Ultra Sun and yes, I know I have like half a million pp in my wallet, but no way am I going to spend my hard-earned money on something a pokecenter visit could fix. It's a similar concept in most games. Take for instance JRPGs, I'll even only visit an inn for paid recovery if it literally costs about 1/10 of my cash earnings from a fight. I do not like spending my own money.
I like to collect items, but I'll sell things like medicine or items that I already have. So a bit of both?
I am a hoarder like nuts. Nothing beats being nicely stocked up and then dying because I think I can save that one potion.
Here’s a list of how I spend my in-game currency in anything I play: 1. Play the game normally without paying attention to the amount of money in my disposal. 2. Run into a town and buy the best armor and weapons I can buy, even if it’s worth most of my balance. 3. Sell any unused items for a little extra cash. 4. Spend the rest on the healing items I’ll spam later. 5. Repeat.
