Do you sprite? How long have you been spriting for? What motivated you to get into spriting?

I have been spriting since 2012! What motivated me to get into spriting was the sprites that were from the Pokémon games. I thought they all were really neat and them I saw them on google images and was so thrilled. After a while I saw that some people made their own custom sprites and I wanted to make my own so I went through a long series of trial and error until I eventually figured out how to sprite.

    /me rolls in

I can't remember when I started pixelling, but how I started was with Minecraft texture packs. Over time as I developed my personal pack, I started building up my pixel skills. It just felt so right to me, so I stuck it. And then when I joined LV, I ended up moving up to bigger stuff. I mean still fairly small but it was a start. I was inspired by the artistry I saw here, so I just had to join in! I first worked with making personal sigs, procedurally getting better, till I started making full scale images.

I even then worked with animating the sprites, which turned out to be super fun (if painful). I'm still lame at the pixelling game, but I enjoy it thoroughly, and continue to try improving my skills bit by bit!

I started sprinting in late 2015, My art style can vary depending on how long I take. What gets me motivated is watching Pokémon gameplay In general and then a real life interpretation of what would be some cool Pokémon (fakemon) sprites to draw would be.

OH HELL YEAH I SPRITE! I have been spriting since 2010 I wanna say and I was terrible at it. Now that I am older and more familiar with Microsoft Paint, I have gotten a lot better. I feel like this topic was made to lure me out of my cave and do a whole discussion about it. I have a deviantART, an art gallery forum on here and a shop dedicated to spriting. Speaking of which. I really need to update my portfolio. BYE!
