So E3 this year has shown some interesting stuff ranging from a new Spiderman game to the announcement of Beyond Life and Death finally getting a sequel, or is it a prequel, after 15 years. Despite this, one thing my Star Wars obsessed mind has latched onto is that finally EA has listened and are given fans of the series what they wanted, an actual Battlefront game. While the first was good, for a while, it was lacking in a lot of content that was behind a paywall. Now, after high demand, that paywall is gone for Battlefront 2. All DLC is going to be free, which is amazing. With this, the game is already going to be bigger than the first with all players being able to play with each other without the DLC separating them. The biggest part of it all though? All eras are playable. Play as the Clone Troopers from the Clone Wars, then their successors as Stormtroopers before stepping into the shoes of a First Order trooper. See each era through the eyes of different factions, while as of now it is unknown if factions from different eras can face each other but even if that is impossible the game is already everything fans wanted. From the gameplay shown, we can see the game has kept the beautiful world building from the original which was a big advantage the original had. Despite the lack of gameplay, there was no denying the work put into the environments. Now with some good looking gameplay, I see the sequel being a massive success, especially when compared to the arguably flop of the first game. So what about it, are you excited about the game? Not really impressed? Or just not care at all? Also for those who never played the original battlefronts from 2004/05 do you think this new game is the proper successor we've been waiting for or do you think it might just be overhyped?
