Stardew Valley is an adorable farming sim RPG mix mash of absolute wonderment. I don't know what it is about this game but I can't stop playing. I am still a newer player- just started my second summer 47 hours in- but I can't put it down. I always say I am gonna play a few days and go to bed but then I am awake at 4 am on my second week of the night. It is the only game I have downloaded on steam since my computer dump. I just got married so still trying to figure out the marriage thing and all. How far are you guys? How long have you been playing? Any tips you can give a newbie?
I have nearly completed most of the stuff by now, finally got my town center repaired. My main advice is to focus on plants that aren't destroyed, and get sprinklers up quickly. Other then that, I don't have much
Mine's not a steam version so I don't know the time played, but I spend most of my time trying to customise the entire thing to perfection, currently working through a whole house renovation but a bit stuck on trying to make the stable tiles match the roof ones because I changed em up and ahh isometric angles kill meee XD Spoiler The last one is an attempt to blend together three different existing mods haha because I liked them all but otherwise I'm doing the kitchen and the bed myself (turns out there were no existing bed head mods at the time!)
I just put up a ton of sprinklers, I need to get more iron and gold to make more quality sprinklers, is it worth making iridium sprinklers?
I think so, they reach like two tiles around or something like that, and once you get to yearr three, and unlock the iridum shrine, it's super easy to make them.
The best way to make money, in my own experience, is by making a bunch of Starfruit wine and aging it to iridium quality in the cellar. Just grow a bunch of starfruits in the greenhouse so you can do that all year long. Only ferment the lower quality ones though and just sell whatever gold quality ones you have since when you ferment them they'll be the base quality regardless. And yes, absolutely make iridium sprinklers. They can water 24 crops at one time.
