"In addition, there's a maintenance office in case something breaks or shorts. Even if it's as simple as changing a lightbulb, the maintenance crew will fix it for you." Brock went on. "There's also the mediation office, which helps resolve any disputes or problems you may have."

(which of the four main performers do you want to see first? Ash, Misty, or Serena? (Brock will be the last to perform)

"Next up is the training complex itself." Brock explained. "This is where we as performers train new skills, and hone others. The medical bay is also there, so your bodies and minds will be in top shape."

He went on. "If we're lucky, we might get to see some of my fellow performers at work."

This gets the crowd excited. After passing through the walkway connecting the living quarters to the training complex, Brock began "Now...this is the training complex. We'll eventually make a big circle around so you all can see everything we do as performers, but I'll offer you a choice in which direction we go first. If we continue straight ahead from here, we'll reach the Athletic and Artistic wing. The Aquatics wing is off to the left, and the Aerial wing is off to the right.

He addressed the group "So, how many want to see Athletics and Artistics first?"

A few hands went up at this. "Okay...how many want to see Aquatics first?"

Some more hands went up at this. "And how many want to see Aerial first?"

A lot of hands went up at this. "Aerial it is, then." Brock smiled before leading the way down the right hallway leading to the aerial training area.

Once the group had arrived in the Aerial wing in the complex, Brock began "Welcome to the Aerial wing, where many high flying acts are rehearsed and practiced. It may not be apparent from the audience, but we do have safety nets and guide bungies to protect all our aerial performers--this minimizes the risk of accidents. We take safety very seriously for all our performers."

One particular practice room got his attention. "In here is the Aerial Swing, a one of a kind aerial act designed just for us. It's also one of the safest aerial acts we do--because once you're inside the harness, you're not coming out."

With that, he led the way inside the room, where a blonde haired girl in a pale yellow training suit was preparing to climb inside the harness. "Up for showing off the flight routine in 'The Legend of the Rainbow Wing', Serena?"

"Sure--I usually train at this time anyway, so I see no harm in demonstrating the aerial swing to your tour group." Serena replied as her team of ground and air spotters arrived.

This is Serena...one of our bravest aerialists, even though she hasn't been part of the troupe for long." Brock explained. "She and Ash are very close friends, so they are never apart for very long."

He noticed a radio near the harness. "Can't do the flight of Ho'oh without the music, can we?" he smiled as he loaded a CD in the radio's CD player.

Once Serena was safely inside the harness of the aerial swing and all the spotters were in place, Brock pressed PLAY on the CD player, prompting a majestic melody to play as Serena took off into the air with an elegant jump. Every flip, twist, and jump seemed like poetry in motion as Serena glided back and forth across the room in time to the music. To those on the ground, it looked like Serena was the rainbow phoenix herself, making a triumphant appearance to the people of the world.

The room roared with applause when Serena finally touched down at the song's end. "Beautiful, as always." Brock smiled as Serena was let out of the harness...

"Anyone have any questions for Serena?" Brock asked as Serena was helped out of the harness.

"Is it scary being up in the air like that?" someone asked.

"At first, yes--but you have the harness, a safety tether, and spotters watching you on the ground and in the air." Serena replied. "You may not see it from the audience, but there's also a safety net in the stage area."

"If the unthinkable were to happen, and someone slipped out, the safety tether would catch you before you fell too far." Brock explained. "But there are some--myself included--that don't feel comfortable with aerial acts because of the risk of falling."

"Every one of the aerial devices is inspected every morning." Serena went on. "If something's even the slightest bit off, no one's getting in the harness until it's fixed."

After departing the Aerial wing, the group and Brock rounded a corner to reach the Aquatics wing. "Next up is the Aquatics wing." Brock explained. "In addition to training for aquatic acts, the pools are also used for rehab and therapeutic purposes."

He went on "In fact, it has been suggested in several studies that using water therapy helps heal injuries and eases pain and stress more than land based therapy."

The various pools came in every shape and size. From the intimate Relaxation Pool to various Olympic sized training pools, there was a pool for all ages, Pokémon, and swimming ability.

"Here is one of the main practice pools for aquatic acts." Brock explains. "It's not unheard of for larger water Pokémon to claim a pool for themselves and their master--but we have enough pools to go around." he smiles.

With that, he unleashes a whistle that sounds (more or less) like Primarina's cry...

As if in response to Brock's whistle, a large majestic seal-like Pokémon that resembled a mermaid surfaced from the water. It then answered Brock back with an identical whistle-like song.

"I'm still amazed you learned to mimic a Primarina cry..." the Pokémon's owner, an orange haired girl, smiled as she emerged from the girls' locker room in a deep blue training wetsuit. "I just call Mele by name, since she knows my voice."

She noticed the group gawking in awe at the Primarina. "Oh, I see why you called Mele!"

"Everyone, this is Misty, our chief of aquatics." Brock explained, making a grand gesture to the girl. "Although she's just as comfortable on land, as well.

"This is Mele, a Primarina." Misty introduced the beautiful seal Pokémon to the group, who waved hello with a fin. "They are world renowned for their song, so when I got her as a thank you gift on our recent Alolan tour, I had to name her Mele, which is Native Alolan for 'song.'

She went on "That whistle you heard Brock mimic to call her is how they communicate with other Primarina, and let the young form, Popplio, know where their mother is."
