    Readthroughs took place in a large open conference room. Readthroughs didn't necessarily mean reading the whole script--they often were discussions on how best to perform the show.

    The conference room was relatively large and very well decorated. At the center were a large circle of chairs arranged in a circle, probably for open discussions about performances and such. Sophie took a seat and watched as others filed in.

    The room filled with chatter as the main cast, performers, and crew members filled in and took a seat. The room could easily hold well over a hundred people, if not more. Brock was at the head of the table, organizing notes and his copy of the script.

    Sophie hummed as the last of everyone filed into the room, which should mean the beginning of the conference if you will. She was still utterly shocked that she got the role...she hadn't had to speak a word to anybody thus far. But hopefully that would be changing very soon.

    Sophie wondered what exactly this conference was all about. Considering she was still very new when it came to acting, she didn't understand scripts very well. That's why she auditioned and got a big role perhaps, to understand important scripts.

    Once sure everyone had a script or could share a script, Brock addressed the gathered crowd. "Okay--first of all, thank you for giving your time and talents to make the show a success."

    He went on "Let's begin by recapping the show's basic plot, with some more detail. In a certain village in the land where the Tales take place, it is a tradition for all boys and girls who are of age to participate in an archery contest. The winner gets a very special bow named the Dragon Bow."

    The beginning of the conference was very basic, going over things that everyone in the room probably already knew. Hopefully the complicated parts would come later on.

    "Kanade agrees with Touya, and beseeches Arceus for guidance. "That night, Arceus appears to them both in a dream." Brock went on. "It turns out that Ren was kidnapped by a Hydreigon, and that the Dragon Bow was shattered into eight gems of virtue. The only way to save her is reassemble the Dragon Bow, and use it to kill the Hydreigon."

    Nothing is quite set in stone yet, but our hero needs to go on what looks like a very long journey with not one, but two goals in mind. Sophie hummed intently. This was turning out to be some kind of epic tale little by little.

    Sophie had both heard and read the tale more than her fair share of times in the past, so this sounded extremely familiar. Both tales were similar in both plot and ending, but maybe there was some sort of alternate ending. That's exactly why she chose to audition for the part.
