In all sorts of video games, whether it be Bravely Default or Pokémon, there are annoying little things called status conditions.

Do you like status conditions? Would you like to get rid of them? Do you think that there are too annoying?

Let us know what you think :)

I honestly do. In some games, it add some of the intensity so it makes a battle more interesting. Take Fire Emblem for example; I know in Blazing Sword, there was many conditions that would pull you back, or stops you from continuing on with your journey and battles or it helps you with battling. Especially when you battle in a lava pit area where the grounds can damage you, and you're poisoned and asleep. That was one hell of a battle lol

They're a little annoying, but that's what makes them so great! A little extra challenge to get through! Thank god there are ways to get rid of them. I think they add something that just gives you something to get frustrated about.

It depends on how frequent or bothersome the status is. Some are very annoying, while others are unique or interesting! In The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, I actually didn't mind the Bunny Link transformations that sometimes happened in dungeons/in the Dark World. The only status effects that annoy me are Confusion and any form of immobilization in Pokémon, but they aren't too awful most of the time. And/or any effect that causes instant death/KO to your character(s), but only after a set number of turns (like Perish Song).

I personally like status effects. They add a nice unpredictability to a battle, such as Paralysis/Stun sometimes making you unable to do anything. It makes battles more interesting that just "wail on them with your strongest move."

It depends on the game. In MH4U I already have infection, haha. In Pokémon they're nice, but it depends if I'm using them or if someone is using them against me.

It adds more diversity and intensity to the gameplay, imo. In most games (especially these days), status conditions are pretty well-balanced, meaning there's just as much of a chance of you being infected by a status condition as the NPC, or your opponent. They can be annoying at times, but it would make a lot of games 50% blander without them.
