Steam

I'm somewhere in between, but I'm slowly converting to the PC master race. Stuff is cheaper, better, and more accessible. It's hard to dislike it.

 

I like the selection and occasional sale (and a nice selection of free MMOs), but console games will be near and dear to my heart.

That said, I got RPG Maker VX Ace for cheap during a sale one year.

 

I'll buy a game on sale every now and then, but I get on very rarely, so I play consoles more often.

PC Master race all the way, though. Consoles be too limiting.

 

Recently, I have been introduced into the magical world of PC gaming.

These autumn deals are insane! I picked up Audiosurf, Borderlands 2, and Octodad for a total of 10 bucks. I'm also thinking of getting Batman: Arkham City (the only one in the series I don't have) or The Stanley Parable. I'd get skyrim, but I already have it on my xbox.

 

I love Steam. I'm almost always on it. Never could stand consoles.

Also, if anyone wants me to add them on Steam, just send me your name or search mine - Malc Modnar, as always.

 

Steam is undoubtedly the best thing that's happened to me. I get so many games, most of them free. TF2, Maplestory, Fistful of Frags, etc.

 

I like steam, but I'm not sure if I like it more than XBox or handheld counsels. It doesn't give the same feel as holding a gameboy or controller. Also, almost none of my friends have steam, so I wouldn't be able to play with them if I stopped playing XBox.

 

I like PC games, but for some reason I don't really like Steam. I prefer going to a store, buying a game, installing it on my PC, and playing right away. It's annoying how all modern PC games require you to have Steam. Not everyone has internet connection. I remember I couldn't play Scribblenauts Unlimited for months because I didn't have the internet at the time.

 

I got Steam a few days ago, just for the sole reason of playing Octodad: Dadliest Catch. I can't play the game quite yet due to issues with my computer, but that aside... I guess I like it so far, I literally only used it to buy this one game xD

 

I like steam, but I only really use it for a couple of games, but I'm very active on it. I prefer console gaming though since my PC lags occasionally.....

 

I don't really use steam, but it is actually pretty useful. There is such a wide network of games that can b found on steam and can be used on many different platforms which I think is pretty cool.

 

The reason I like Steam is because of the trading cards and levels, and I recently got to level 140 as of the 1st of January now.

I put in a trade offer link somewhere on my Steam profile so people can trade cards with me without adding, so as for these who don't like cards and levels, I'll be happy to collect them to further my level some more c

 

I'm up for both actually. I love playing some really great games on Steam, such as FTL and Shovel Knight, but I also like playing games on the consoles too, such as Pokémon (surprise surprise) and the Legend of Zerlda series.

 

I've had a Steam account for so long but have hardly been using it, especially nowadays. Not sure why but I've really had a falling out with playing PC games and mostly tinker around on my 3DS recently.. though really do want to get back into it. Magicite and Binding of Isaac Rebirth are some very fun games that need more of my attention, oops.

Don't know squat about the cards and collectibles, I'm from before that era. ;c;

 

I personally use Steam, because game wise, you normally end up getting the best of both PlayStation and Xbox. I think it is also worth saying that it is significantly cheaper to buy a few new parts for a computer than it is to buy an entirely new console. It all comes down to preference in the end. I personally still have a Wii U and my brother has a PS4, despite both of us being primarily PC gamers, because you never know when there will be an amazing console exclusive game.

 

I use Steam all the time and i have 33 games and have been user for 3 year's. The sales are awesome and it's a fine community.
