There are a lot of Christmas and Winter season songs out there, so there's bound to be some really weird ones thrown in there. What is your favorite strange Christmas song, or what is the weirdest Christmas song you've ever heard? For me, it is hands down White Winter Hymnal. The lyrics are so vague and strange that there are actually theories out there about what the song is actually about. Even the writers of the song don't know what it's about, as they've said that the words are basically meaningless and the whole point of the song is harmonies and vocals. It's a pretty song, and fun to sing, but...it's just so weird.
So it's kinda like one of the signature songs from FFVIII, "Fithos Lusec Wecos Vinosec"? For me, the strangest Christmas song is definitely "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer".
I agree, “Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer” is weird. But a bunch of these songs barely have any connection to Christmas at all. For example, the horrible, terrible, no good, very bad “Last Christmas”. An awful song, and an even worse Christmas song. Aside from saying that it happens on Christmas, it’s just another cringey ‘I only made this to publicly humiliate my ex’ song. I’m sure there are other examples, but I hate this one, so it comes to mind first.
@FireSpartan5 Never heard that one before, but from your description I would agree with you - it's definitely weird, and totally not in keeping with the spirit of Christmas.
That Litmas song by Jake Paul is probably the weirdest Christmas song I've heard. It's strange, but not in a good way. More like stupid strange, 'what the hell am I listening to' strange.
I didn't even know that was a thing, but I already hate it. And knowing @Fchicken77 , she would hate it even more.
I know an even worse one. “It’s Christmas Day Bro” by Jake Paul, featuring “London is my country” by Nick Crompton.
Sometimes we make VERY bad parodies xaxaxa One christmas parody I remember we made went like this: "Jingle bells, Batman smells, Robin lays an egg"
