I was bored today so I hopped on Twitch to see if there were any worthwhile streams of the games I like, which got me wondering if anyone on here frequents streams on Twitch, Youtube, Hitbox or whatever and what their favorite streamers are. Or maybe someone here is a streamer themselves?
Now, I don't attend streams too often but I think they're generally pretty relaxing and entertaining. Usually I'll watch 'smaller' rather than very popular ones, but that's just me. A few of my favorites are BabyPancakes, KiDarknessDragon and NAKAT. Most of the Pokémon streamers don't really appeal to me for some reason. I'd stream myself without commentary just for fun, but my computer isn't powerful enough sadly. Aw well...

Honestly, I don't really go onto game streams, as much as I like to watch them play the whole game, I have that tendency on wanting to skip ahead if I feel bored or something. Usually if the stream is for a special occasion, like a Nintendo Direct, I will definitely stick around. My favorite Streamer I enjoy watching is FedoraGaming, and my second favorite is EtikaWorldNetwork.

Twitch streams always lag really bad for me so I prefer Livestream and Youtube over it. However, I did watch some of Twitch Plays Pokémon. It was hilarious watching the chat be a huge sea of commands. I tried watching the VGC World Chaps on Twitch as well, but the lag was too severe so I just waited until it showed up on Youtube. Youtube has the best streaming speed and quality out of them all for me. I've only watched a couple streams on Youtube so far like this Bird guy playing Splatfest, the Footlocker National Cross Country Championships, the VS fashion show, and a couple of other random gaming Youtube streams. As for Livestream, I've probably watched the most streams on there, but that's because I've known it the longest. I've been using Livestream for about 3 years and have even made some of my own streams with it watching my old videos made me cringe so bad. Livestream isn't too laggy for me, but sometimes it slows my computer a bit when I stream with it and use other things like the internet, skype, etc. I prefer the Old Livestream in comparison to the new one simply because I feel like its more user friendly and faster. As for watching streams on Livestream, I usually just randomly browse recommend streams it has up for me, most being art or gaming related.

Really depends on what they're streaming. I don't really like watching streams because I get bored (and jealous) when I'm not the one playing the game lol. Though there are a few instances when I do watch streams:
    1. watching competitions/tournaments
    2. checking out a game that I'm interested in buying (so I can play it myself of course)
    Yep, that's about it.

Yeah, when I go hiking and and we get to a low area, then it's like wtf, now my boots are wet. Wait, what are we talking about?

If I had the internet to support it, I would totally be a streamer. I enthusiastically love classic games especially and have the capacity to narratively and conversationally interact with an audience. Not to mention that my voice is totally swoon-able... ladies.

If I upgrade my internet any time soon, I'll let you all know so you can be my first audience. I'm thinking Yoshi's Island or Donkey Kong Country (prob DKC2). Or... Mega Man X 123?

I've wanted to start streaming for a while, but I'm still in the learning stages. I'm getting there fast though, so maybe stay tuned...

As for watching, I mostly just look up streams that are finished and posted to youtube. I like being able to skip through dryer parts, and also being able to pause it and not miss anything. It feels like whenever I get up to get a snack, that's when the interesting things happen. >.>
