This is just a way for me to show all of the work that I've done. For my first post I shall show my most recent work. Spoiler 10 Elements Lineart [sharedmedia=gallery:images:149] The lineart Skletch that I came up with at 2am. This was the base. Spoiler 10 ElementsStep 2 [sharedmedia=gallery:images:150] Yay! I got the symbols inked in and started to fill in the dark and wood panels. At this point I'm saving fire for last because every time I do these that panel is the most tedious and time conduming. Spoiler 10 Elements Half Way [sharedmedia=gallery:images:151] I finished the dark and wood panels in that order. Next I did metal, earth, ice, and water in that order. Next panel to tackle is thunder. I'm just going to make it match it's warrior because I can't think of anything else to do with it. Spoiler 10 Elements 90% [sharedmedia=gallery:images:152] Okay, thunder turned out good so I next tackled light which I didn't have a vision for until it was nearly done. Wind was very...simple. I was going to make it yellow but then I thought "no I already did that plus I need to save it for fire." So I went with pink instead cause well, digimon. Spoiler 10 Elements Complete [sharedmedia=gallery:images:153] Well fire didn't take NEARLY as long as it usually was because I didn't go into my super fine detail like I usually would. All in all I say it turned out really well. Also it is important to note that my pictures ALL got flipped over for some reason. Go figure. Oh well, it still looks good and I still like it! Now for this first set, criticism is welcomed. However, lease be nice about it. This was the first major project I've worked on in Arceus knows how long and it was admitedly a quick throw together. I may go back and do a better one on newsprint later. =================================================================== =================================================================== =================================================================== Next are many of my earlier works. All done by hand and are all works that I'm proud of. These are open to criticism but keep in mind that most of these are over 6 years old. Spoiler BLV (Before Lake Valor) [sharedmedia=gallery:images:154] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:155] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:156] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:157] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:158] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:159] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:160] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:161] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:162] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:163] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:164] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:165] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:166] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:167] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:168] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:169] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:170] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:171] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:172] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:173]
I love the bold colours on these! Were the 10 elements inspired by a movie/game, or are they purely original?
So I'm reviving this thread to post my artwork. Since the links for the old pics are not working, I will repost them here. I'm going to start with my deviant art stuff and work my way up from there.
Some of my older images are too old to load. I do not want to resize them since that might make some details to hard to see. For those images, look for Strytho on deviant art if you are interested in them.
These are some of my newer pieces, all from my days in college. Critiques are welcome for these pieces as well as the above pieces, please be aware though that this is all older stuff.
I'm currently loading everything to my deviant art account if you want to have a full look at everything.
another set of art, the letters were done today. The circuit one is from this past winter and yes I do have plans to finish it this week. The two armors are piece that I did in highschool that have been sitting in my closet for who knows how long along with several other pieces. I'll upload more when I have it available. If you want to check out an even bigger gallery by me, please check me out on deviantart.
The letters do not take long, about 20 or so minutes. When I first started making them they took way longer because they were new to me. My first one took about 45 minutes. As far as other artwork, everything varies based off of how big and what media I use. I would upload more art but due to size restrictions I'm having difficulty lol. I was however able to upload the finished Circuit 012 and after cropping and resizing I was able to get color stripes remake up XD
For those of you who want to see my full unabridged collection, here is the link to my deviant art page. https://www.deviantart.com/strytho
