Stupidest Thing (or Moment) You Have Ever Done In a Video Game.

I have too many to count.

 

Okay so when I was 10 and playing Pokémon Diamond, I had read that if a Ludicolo && an Empoleon bred, there was a chance that a Mew would hatch from the egg. So being the stupid 10 year old I was, I spent like 2 days trying to hatch a Mew from an egg before realizing it was a huge lie.

 

Basically in any Pokémon game (mostly ROM hacks, but I've had this problem playing Diamond the first time with that stupid boulder in Mt. Coronet) where it looks like you can't walk behind a boulder, but in actuality, you can... but before you figure that out, you do lots of unnecessary backtracking and talking to NPCs panicking "what do I do, what do I do?".

 

Alright, so I sat staring at my DS game, Pokémon Heartgold trying to figure out how to push the boulders into the right spot in the cave. Well, I did all of them, but I missed one. It was the one you could see when you first walked into the area with the boulders. Sigh.

 

Merging and/or accidentally sell Rare and Super Rare spirits in Destiny Of Spirits! Agh! Did it again last night, was fumminggg afterwards. I should stop trying to merge spirits when I'm on the verge of sleeping...

 

Did the biggest side quest in tales of xillia 2. It was very stupid but very fulfilling.
Only took me an extra 12 hours though~

 

Accidentally using a normal move on a ghost type. I can't remember if it lost me the battle though.
