What do you prefer? Dubbed or Subbed? Is there a reason why?

I'm okay with the anime as long as I actually get to watch it. Now, I don't like dubs if they are done horribly, but I'm okay with subs and dubs for most animes.

If it is an older and well liked anime, I'm quite fine with watching the dub. However, most of the time I can't stand some voices in the dub because it just doesn't fit. In most cases I prefer the Japanese voices with subs.

I prefer dubbed over subbed because I have to pay less attention xD But if the anime is good, I'm fine with either.

I prefer either. I don't mind too much if the voices in dubs aren't as "in-character" as they're supposed to. I don't pay too much attention to the tones. Although, I will watch a sub if I can't find a dub. My friend, on the other hand, won't watch ANY dub unless it sounds right. Good dubs or nothing, for him. When I get the chance I tell him I'm watching a dubbed anime and he starts complaining XD

I'm more a subbed type of guy. Whilst I can cope with both, I prefer to watch anime in its original state. Sometimes, the dubbing gets really messed up (Like "Up On Poppy Hill". The dubbing messed up the fluidity of that film, kind of ruining it for me a little).

I prefer subbed because sometimes the dubbing can be way off and sound terrible. Rarely does the dub sound better than the original voicing with the sub. I think for Fullmetal alchemist, they actually prefer the English dubbing compared to the Japanese dub.

If I had a choice, I would pick the dubbed version
Most of the series that are subbed have awkward voices to me, like One Piece

But if I'm impatient and want to watch an episode right away, I'll go with the sub

I almost always watch the subbed version of an anime. I just like it a bit more, for some reason. There are rarely any cases where the dub is equally good, or even better, as the subbed version, so I prefer the original.

I'm always in preference of subs. The Japanese voices sound more fitting and "natural" for me given how long I've been watching them, plus I prefer seeing things in their original language. There are some fantastic dubs out there, though, like Soul Eater and Durarara!! among others. I've seen the former both subbed and dubbed and loved each one.

I usually only prefer Dubs, and I don't like Subs, but there have been a couple of exceptions, such as Nichijou, which I wanted to watched because it looked so funny. Glad I did, it was well worth it! :D

    For most animes, subbed.
There's only one anime that I'm willing to watched dubbed, and that's FullMetal Alchemist (both the first season and Brotherhood).
Only because FUNimation did it, and there are no strange names for them to mispronounce.
And also because Vic Mignogna makes an amazing Ed. XD
But for other animes, I HAVE to watch them subbed because the dubbed versions usually make my hair stand on end, and not in the good way. (english dub is sometimes tolerable, but you should try to listen to tagalog dubs of anime, or anything, really - they dubbed spongebob into tagalog and I just went 'nope' and changed the channel.)

I kind of prefer dubbed, since it's easy to listen to, but sometimes I like the subbed version to better know what everything that's happening. Like 3 conversations at once, haha.

Either works fine for me, though mostly I prefer the subbed anime as the original voices tend to me a lot better.

I'm fine with either. I test both Dubbed and Subbed versions.

it depends on which I've seen first, I get too used to the voices and anything else I hear is an abomination of the "original" voice I've heard before
example: Subbed Erin (attack on titan)= yay! I love this show dubbed Erin = who is this man and what is he doing here?

For me my anime always has to be subbed, unless I've seen several episodes in English and I'm used to their voices... Most of the time, if I have two different anime, one subbed and the other dubbed, I'll more often than not watch the Japanese version as to me it sounds much better in the natural tongue of the characters

Depends on the series. I mostly prefer subs since i'm hard of hearing so I need to read it as well. But with some series like Future Card Buddyfight the dub is fine. Dub's can be good for people who have a hard time seeing but still want to enjoy the series.

There's still some "anime elitism" like ~you're not a true fan unless you watch the subs~ or w/e but honestly whatever you enjoy is fine.

Sub 'cuz dub always comes out later and I'm really impatient when it comes to watching anime. :P
