It may be the middle of summer, but with all that's been going on this year, I'm curious about just what people are doing this summer. I'm kinda staying home this summer, but I'm also moving, so I'm not exactly staying in one place. The majority of my 'summer' will be dedicated to unpacking, trying to be aware of those around me (I'm moving to an area where people are especially against the idea of wearing masks), and trying to find a job as well. Not much of a vacation, but I'm looking forward to it.
For me, this is my first summer taking classes. Why? Because tl;dr, a bunch of complications with transferring to this specific college meant that a single one of my classes getting cancelled means that I have to take a few summer classes to even have a CHANCE of transferring, and by extension, not screwing myself out of a semester of school. And I only even have that chance in the first place due to quarantine. The classes themselves? Stressful. Just as much content in twice the amount of time on top of one of the two classes I'm taking being the hardest I've had so far means that this one class is where all my focus is, and I'm not doing as well as I could be in the other class because of this. REALLY sucks.
Oh, that sounds horrible. My sister is having transferring complications as well. She's actually decided to go to a different school than the one she was planning on come fall, because her desired school isn't going to accept transfer credits from the schools she went to earlier.
I am just working the entire time. :< However, I am going on vacation next week. Not sure what we are going to be doing since a lot of places are either still closed, or just opening back up. I'd like to be able to catch up on some video games I haven't beaten yet. Or apply for a new job. XD
Funnily enough, I’m in the middle of moving myself. We just got to North Carolina and we’re figuring out our housing situation. For now we’re relaxing in a hotel. I’ve been finding ways to entertain myself, though. I started playing PMD : DX at the start of the move, which has given me plenty to do on the gaming front. I’ve also been working on two separate DND campaigns (not DMing either thankfully, but I have a strong hand in one of them). It’s been a fun way to pass the time.
honestly even with Everything happening rn this is 100% like all other summers ive had in the past...!! i cant STAND the heat so i just stay inside with the air on all day unless im going somewhere or have some obligation but otherwise. this is just another summer wahoo,, at least the animal crossing updates are keeping me juuuuuuust sane enough haha
Our summer was a few months back, although still quite into quarantine~ Overall I'd say 'twas fun, although quite banal sometimes, especially when my bloody sires imposed the rule of no gadgets on Wednesdays...
I dislike summer. Its too hot, the sun's rays feels like thousands of needles on my skin, the plants are covered in bees and I always have summer classes that are more compressed/hard than usual. So yeah, just another summer in my life. Nothing too special.
My summer has been very relaxed so far, but it's going to get quite stressful. I just came back from my holiday, but now I gotta prepare everything so I can move into the new house. Additionally, there's some school stuff still left to do, but that isn't a lot, will only take up a day. All in all, it's probably one of the greater summers for me so far though.
