    So im pretty new here, i first started playing competitive on smogon but they got a little too bann happy if you ask me (main reasons are the BP nerf and Mawilite bann)
    So here I am a fresh new forum about Pokémon, with a great design at that.
    I shall be as much active as possible but i have some projects running for my uni.


    And i also have a question from the get go, what rulings are applied when doing thw fifi battles? Do we follow the VGC/official ingame rules or are we tied to smogon rules/tiers?

    If I'm correct, we use the VGC rules for wifi battles. (someone correct me if I remembered this wrong).

    I was never too active on Smogon but can assure you that the people here are lovely. <3 Personally only been posting on Lake Valor for a short time and have really enjoyed it so no problem. Welcome, Rick. :')

    And from what I remember we mostly focus on Pokémon Online tiers, or so the tier announcement in the Competitive forum says. Hope you have a good time there because the more battlers (and members in general, really) the merrier! Do ask the staff if you need any help.

    Welcome to Lake Valor, Rick Gastly! As far as I know, we use a mix of official VGC rules and some of our own rules. You're better off looking in the Global Terminal section for more information, though. Everyone likes to battle differently though, so I'm sure you'll find many people to battle in whatever format you like best!
