Super Mario 3D World

I just got done catching up on my Mario games. The only one left is Mario 3D World. I played Mario Galaxy 2, which was superb (and imo was better than its predecessor). NSMB2 on the 3DS was kind of disappointing. Mario 3D Land and NSMB Wii U I both approve of. I'm hoping that when I try Mario 3D World, it will be a classic Mario experience.

 

I love how this game lets you select your character in multiplayer. The graphics are great as always, and the soundtrack is pretty upbeat as well. My favorite power up so far has been the Cat Bell (Not sure what its really called). Its absolutely hilarious playing multiplayer with four people and everyone meowing all over the place with the Cat power. xD I also love how Rosalina is an unlockable character. This game is just overall really cute and entertaining.

 

Although I don't own this game, I play a demo of it every time I find one at a mall. It's the highest Wii U game on my "To Buy" list, and it looks, sounds and feels great. even from just the demo. I especially like how every character has their own unique abilities.
Also @[member="Bloom"] I believe the item you were talking about is the Super Bell, but it could also be the Cat Bell!

 

I have this game, and I have to say, It's amazing!! The sleekness of the characters and the art style is just beautiful. Great game to play with family. Or that kid who lives next door and loves video games!!

 

I've watched a Let's Play of this game and fell in love with the beautiful graphics instantly.. they only keep getting better too, especially towards the last few worlds. Even the overworld outside of stages looks amazing. It'll likely be my next Wii U purchase when I finally finish Wind Waker HD. Mario games are usually not worth it to me since they tend to be short and easy but this is an exception. ♥

 

I'm about to finish this masterpiece of a game... sort of. Wasn't too thrilled when I found out that you have to play through every level with every character in order to collect the 5 last stamps. Other than that tedious objective, fantastic game! Been loving every second of it.

 

It came pre-downloaded on my Wii U so I'll get to playing it soon. I have played it at my cousin's house though and it was a lot of fun with 4 people!
