I just have to go with Super Mario 64, no doubt. I'm not a huge Mario fan, meaning that I haven't played many games, but Super Mario 64 is one of the few I actually did play, and it did not disappoint. I think the best part is that it even holds up to today's standards, which makes it an amazing game :D

Super Mario Advance 2. I love the originals, and there were so many secret spots, I can't even count them! (and the fact that they had the other mario game infused with it.) :P

Mario & Luigi partners in time :) That counts right? It'd better, because it's an amazing game :D

Mario Kart and the Mario party series. The reason being I have more fun playing with my friends than playing alone. Now you may ask, well the New Super Mario series has multiplayer. My answer to that is, the multiplayer isn't fun, at all, when I play with my friends.

Paper Mario and the 1,000 Year Door. Such a great RPG style Mario game. Its got humor, action, story, and its even scary at times. (don't read the journal when the ghost tells you not to...) Its so amazing you all need to play it!

Paper Mario and Paper Mario TTYD

Both games were easy at the start, but then as soon as you get to the end it gets harder!

Also i like the stories of both games and the characters :D and especially the antagonist from TTYD.

It's a 3-way tie between Sunshine, Galaxy, and SM64. Sunshine was fairly unique for a Mario game, fun, colorful, and challenging. Galaxy had very innovative gameplay, pretty good graphics, amazing music and story. 64 was one of my first video games, it was the first game I fell in love with, it still remains to be one of my favorites. It was fun, music was awesome, controls were pretty good as well.

I haven't played that many Mario games, but my all-time favorite is Super Mario World. I really enjoyed the levels, being able to ride Yoshi, and the music. The Lost Levels (actually Super Mario Bros. 2 in Japan) comes in a close second-it gave the original Super Mario Bros.' gameplay format a presentation twist.

Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga. Loved that game from start the finish. I also loved Super Mario Bros 3 and the Mario Party series.
I've been dying to play Super Mario Sunshine again though, I just lack a GameCube and well.. the game itself.

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, is not only my favorite Mario game but my favorite game, in general. It took all the things that made the first awesome and expound upon it and make it better. The partner's personalities are better, the level design is fantastic and it is really difficult when need be. I just really like everything that game had to offer.

Apologies for about a 2 week bump, but...

My favorite single-player game is Paper Mario: TTYD. Everything about that game is just so magical to me! The music, the characters and their personalities, the strategies... It's awesome!

My favorite multiplayer game, on the other hand, is Mario Party 6. So much nostalgia with that one, and I love the Day & Night system, along with the Orb system. I loved setting traps on the board and getting paid because my rivals triggered them!

I hope making this post is alright, because I have a few favourite Mario games and a lot to say about each of them...

Super Mario Sunshine: This was the first Mario game I actually really got into, and as such it would have to be right up there in first place on my list of favourite Mario games, I had played it from 2002 all the way up until 2012 as that was when my last Wii ceased function. Ten years I played this game, and I loved every single moment, noticed that a lot of people seemed to dislike it for being so different and difficult, but what was difficult and different to most was wonderful and not too bad to me due to how experienced I was with the game. At first it really did confuse and irritate me, even intimated me at times due to how new I was to stuff, but after a few years and getting the feel of things it became my favourite game of all time and I just couldn't get enough of it. The beautiful tropical island the game took place on combined with the fun and often energetic music present, it was amazing. I miss playing Super Mario Sunshine and hope that if/when GameCube games arrive on the Wii U eShop it'll be one of the first titles on there and I'll be able to play it right away.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door: I played the hell out of this game when I got it, played from 2004 all the way up until 2012, so almost as long as I played Super Mario Sunshine, but just the same it was also a game I couldn't get enough of and never got tired of no matter what. The story was very interesting and the world and characters involved were as well, I also really enjoyed the music present, as I often do when it comes to Mario games. I ended up playing the first Paper Mario games years after this one, and will say that this sequel really continued to do this side series justice, I literally did nearly everything in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and that in itself has made me hesitate about getting it if it were to ever release on the Wii U eShop. I mean, I love the game, but to do all that I had done again...it would take awhile. lol Maybe I just shouldn't try to 100% it again though.

Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga: I can't recall when I first played this game, but I do remember my one best friend having a copy of it and letting me borrow and start a file on it way back when, he eventually just gave me the game too. In either case though, this was a really fund game and yet again, I quite enjoyed the world involved as well as the music present in the game among other things, there was quite a bit to do and I especially liked how they allowed you to play as both Mario and Luigi in this new side series. I unfortunately accidentally threw out the copy of the game my best friend had given me several years ago and was really upset about it for awhile due to wanting to play the game again, and as soon as the eShop became I thing I began to hope that someday it would appear on there. After a few years of waiting, it eventually did release on the Wii U eShop too and I got it as soon as possible, it was nice to play this old favourite of mine again and I had a lot of fun with it as I often did.

Super Mario World is a great classic. I love how you can actually bring Yoshi everywhere. The game is amazing and if you haven't played it, I'm pretty sure you can download it off of the WiiU Eshop.

Both Galaxies, because It's so cool thinking about all the stuff I could do. It has tons of replay value. Just because you saved the universe, it doesn't mean you finished the game.

Now this is much better. Anybody like my avatar? Oh, and for the Mario and Luigi Dream Team website link, look down.http://marioandluigidreamteam.nintendo.com

Paper Mario seems to be such a popular game but the only one in the series I've played was Sticker Star.. and we all know what people say about that Paper Mario game, hahahah.

Though I do have Mario & Luigi U that came with my Wii U bundle but haven't gotten through it yet. Only on world one or so because hooray for laziness. ; A; Really want to pick up 3D World given all the positive feedback it's received - it looks really, really fun.
