    I don't know how many people will remember this, given its a Sega IP, which like 95% of their IPs has been in hibernation for years. But earlier today we got an announcement that there will be an HD remake of the first Wii game in the Super Monkey Ball series, Banana Blitz.



    Now as someone that loves this series dearly but felt that the quality dropped after 1 and 2, consider me extremely excited to fall of cliffs and rage once again. If they patch up the issues Banana Blitz had this could be a much better game.

    I'm pretty interested in this! I never played a monkey ball game, but always thought they looked cool. I'll definitely have to pick this up when it comes out.

    Some more information as well that Sega brought up about BB HD :

    - There will be multiple control schemes, already a plus given that original Banana Blitz was motion controls only
    - 10 minigames instead of 50 like the original, so more quality over quantity
    - Online Leaderboards, which is perfect for this type of game.
