Yes and I don't think this doesn't need much explanations. ;)

Swear filters are kind of needed around public chat rooms and shoutboxes over forums and other sites, yes some actually don't have these feature on their chatboxes but I kind of feel a need fr one.^^; It keeps things friendly and regulated on chats and such.

And because I'm no9t the type for foul language.^^; So yes. That's swear filters in a nutshell.~

I understand what you're trying to say about not wanting to see inappropriate language but I must admit that Lake Valor users don't swear all that often, at least from what I've seen. I know that there will be younger viewers out there but putting a ban on all swearing is kind of restricting someone's freedom of speech. I'd rather have a feature that allows you, yourself, to be restricted from seeing such language than to but a ban on all swear words in general.

That's just my thought on the matter, I don't know if my opinion is required here but that's what I suggest.

We already have rules about keeping it to a minimum. A little swearing is no problem, excessive swearing, and swearing in the context of flaming other members isn't tolerated. I don't agree at all with the use of wordfilters.

However, given the LV suggestion system, if your suggestion gets 7 votes via the Like system, it will be considered.

I agree with what Fooze said. An option where you don't see the swearing would be better than just removing it completely. And like Domia said, we do have a rule on minimizing it.

And also from what I've seen, I'm one of the youngest, or maybe even the youngest, user on here, and I don't really mind the swearing. Even if I don't do it myself that much.
