    I just noticed, we don't actually have a thread dedicated to SAO yet. We have two that mention SAO, but not a distinct SAO thread.

    So, anything anyone feels like talking about with SAO, ALO, or any of the light novels (GGO and Alicization) talk about it here.

    Oh, this is a good idea. There's bound to be at least one or two SAO fans here, right?

    Anyway, SAO was an amazing anime. While it only ran for 25 episodes, I'm still hoping for more to come and if I really wanted to, I'd re-watch all the episodes in a heartbeat. :)

    Ive yet to finish SAO, but I'm on episode like..15 I think? Anyways, it's incredible so far! I'd heard a lot of good things about it, and am glad I checked it out. I just hope I actually finish it. I struggle to finish a lot of anime due to other distractions :blush:

    I was watching the episodes again yesterday an I noticed something after the credits in episode 9. There was a picture of the Gun Gale Online (Phantom Bullet) arc. I hope they make it into an anime.

    Sword Art Online II is confirmed for 2014. No seasonal confirmation yet but I imagine it'll be in the spring or summer most likely given that the PV is already out.

    I just watched that special. Klein's despair when he realises that the girl were going to wear armour was hilarious and the whole thing about the whale was so cool. I wonder if they will ever go back at try and take on the Kraken again, with a massive attack force.

    Can't wait until the GGO arc comes out.

    I'm going to watch the rest of second episode in a few minutes. I really liked how there was that lady in the restaurant who just looked at Kirito and the other guy when they were talking about the deaths basically telling them to shut up. And Sinon is so awesome.

    Who would you have shot first if you were Sinon, the guy they told her to shoot or the guy in the cloak (if you didn't know he had that weapon).

    I have yet to watch the new anime of SAO. Based on my SAO loving friends testimony it should be better than the first one. I sure hope so or I'll drop the anime in a heartbeat. I might be a bit alone with this opinion, but I though SAO was very overrated. when there were fighting scenes it was brilliant, but then romance took over the plot and then the Alfheim 2nd half of the anime? just nope :/
    but still, I need to give GGO a chance before I brush that season off.

    If I were Sinon I would have shot the guy in the cloak. He looked suspicious and he would be more of a problem if you didn't kill him first.

    That little call back to episode 4 of SAO was hilarious. Just cause you have wings now Silica doesn't mean lolicon plant monsters won't try to perve on you.

    On a side note, I'm cosplaying as Kirito for AvCon today.

    I love GaleGunOnline but i have been a SAO fan since the begining so i enjoy the anime i saw the first three episodes of GaleGunOnline they were amazing can not wait to see the next episode this sunday.

    I just finished watching Karneval and am in need of something to watch between the shows I'm watching that are currently airing so I thought about picking up SAO. I'm a bit skeptical though, since the reception for the show is either extremely positive or extremely negative.

    SAO was pretty good up until the second half of season one when it became too romance-heavy, though I still liked the characters. Lyfa/Leafa especially was super cute! I do hope we can see more of her in S2. :'( But Sinon has really been making up for it. The newer episodes have been so much more action-packed than before so I'm especially anxious for coming eps.
