So the games are out, and many of us have our copies. The question is - which did you buy? Was it the version you had originally planned to get? If not, what changed your mind? If you don't have a copy yet - are you waiting for Christmas, a sale, money, or not bothering?
I'll be real - I love Pokémon, but I've already got my hands full with a lot of other projects and work, as well as Super Kirby Clash. I think I'll pass.
I got Sword off of the eshop using my last voucher, which is basically what I was planning on doing the whole time.
Yeah I’ve said it a bunch and I feel like a broken record, but I don’t have a switch or the money for one. If I did, I’d get Shield. I like Zamazenta better than Zacian.
I went with Sword because because I really wanted Sirfetch’d on my team. Bea was also more appealing to me than the ghost type gym leader.
I'm quite passionate about getting shield...for a number of little reasons, like I prefer the legendary, shield seemed generally less popular at first (though it seems pretty even right now), and Shield has Croagunk in it. But I would be ecstatic to get Sword as well.
As much as I love Pokémon, I decided against getting these games. Dexit, mediocre graphics, no GTS, and and the constant handholding made me lost all interest in SWSH. If the games had have turned out good I'd definitely be on team Sheild though. Zamazenta is cool.
Went for shield, will wait to see what follow up games we get if any to see if I get a second version for challenge runs.
