Sycamore's Kanto starters

In both playthroughs in Y I went with Bulbasaur. Never used it for my party, but I do use it (now a Venusaur) to summon hordes with Sweet Scent. As for X, I went with Charmander the first time. Named him Natsu and used him on my team; he wrecked shit as a Mega Charizard X~ In my second playthrough I think I chose Squirtle; forgot which I went with in my third playthrough.

Ahem. Anyway, I chose Charmander, because it's my favorite. I was a little disappointed that I was playing X and would get the physical-attacking Zard X, but after I used him a few times I didn't care anymore.

 

I went ahead and chose Squirtle on the only playthrough where I actually used the starters. I didn't need either of the other two. This time around I don't know what I picked because I don't think I'm using it because I got a Bulbasaur and Charmander in my Wonderlocke.

 

I got a charmander and yes I did use him in my X especially when getting Xerneas x3

 

I choose Charmander and it's currently a lvl 78 Charizard So yeah I used it xD

 

Charmander+Charizardite . Just liked to much the power of this one xD

Yeah I like charizard, so obviously I chose chamander, and I would of got
bulbasaur next but I only bought the Y version because I am not that rich and I want to save it lol.

 

I was super excited about those starters, and at the time I felt like the only one. I knew so many people who kept saying things like "I can't believe they're shoving the gen I starters in your face in a gen 6 game." "It's so dumb that they MAKE you take one of them." etc etc but I was really excited about it... the first time around I really wanted Charmander because its mega evolutions are just so sexy, but I think I ended up choosing something else because I started with Delphox. I know I chose Charmander at some point though (I played through several times!).

 

I really liked that! I chose Squirtle, because he is by far the best out of the three starters, obviously It was a great addition to my team!

 

For X I picked Charmander and then for Y I picked Bulbasaur. Once I start X again I'm going to pick Squritle instead. I like to try out all three of them just like the good old days. I preferred Charmander for X because I liked it's X form better then Y.

 

I picked Bulbasaur in X, in hopes that it would work well in tandem with my Froakie and for my love of Venusaur, but it wound up in the PC box after I caught Xerneas and started expanding my team + importing my other grass-types from previous games with PokeBank. I haven't gotten very far in Y, but I plan to choose Squirtle when I get to that point in the game.

 

I chose Bulbasaur since it fit into my team better as a grass/poison type. I also really loved how mega venasaur's ability was incredibly useful in resisting some of it's weaknesses.

 

Since I restarted both X and Y a whole bunch of times, I can say that I chose all of them at least once.

But I do remember choosing Charmander in X when I first got it.

 

Charmander all da way~ I mean, Mega Charizard X is just so sexy @-@

 

I chose Bulbasaur to go along with my Fennekin because I have always liked Bulbasaur and I didn't want to have two fire types with Charizard and Delphox.

 

I went for Charmander to cover my Froakie's Grass type weakness and because Charizard looks the coolest.

 

I went for Charmandrr in Y even though I already had Fennikin because I loved the design for Mega Charizard Y and for X, I just picked either of the three during my many playthroughs.
