"One day, Twila overheard the captain and his wife talking." Brock starts.

"When I found them," he explains as the captain, "I saw nothing that could give me any idea of how or where they were born."

"I suspect," Misty suggests as Cora, "that Kevin is not their brother, he has neither star nor pendant."

"Twila immediately ran and told this to the three princes, who decided to speak to the captain and his wife, and ask them to let them go out into the world and discover the secret of their birth." Brock continues as himself. "After some resistance, they got the okay. A beautiful ship was prepared, and the young princess and the three princes set out. They determined to sail to the very spot where the captain had found them, and made preparations for a grand sacrifice to Arceus for their protection and guidance." Ash continues. "They were about to sacrifice a Pidove, but Princess Twila saved its life, and let it fly. Then a mermaid appeared in the water, and said..."

"Don't be afraid, let your vessel go where it will; land where it stops." Misty suggests as the mermaid.

"The ship sailed more quickly. Suddenly they came in sight of a city so beautiful that they wondered if their ship should enter the port." Brock continues. "They landed anyway, and the shore was soon crowded with people, who noticed the magnificence of their ship. They ran and told the king the news, and as the grand terrace of the palace looked out upon the shore, he hurried there as fast as he could. The princes, hearing the people say, 'There is the king,' looked up, and bowed in respect. He looked earnestly at them, and was as much charmed by the princess's beauty, as by the handsome looks of the young princes. He ordered his retinue to offer them his protection, and everything that they might require."

"The king was so interested about these four children, that he went into the chamber of the queen, his mother, to tell her of the wonderful stars which shone upon their foreheads, and everything that he admired in them. She was thunderstruck at it, and was terribly afraid that Portia had betrayed her, and sent her secretary to ask about them. What he told her of their ages confirmed her suspicions." Brock intones. "She sent for Portia, and threatened to kill her. Portia, terrified as she was, confessed everything; but promised, if she spared her, that she would still find a way to get rid of them. The queen was appeased at this; and, indeed, old Portia did all she could for her own sake."

Brock retrieves his own guitar as he goes on "She was fairly good at the guitar, so one night, she went and sat down in a room overlooking the Princess Twila's window, and sang a song which Twila thought so pretty that she invited her into her room."

With that, he starts a familiar song. I'll walk in the rain by your side,
I'll cling to the warmth of your hand...
I'll do anything to keep you satisfied
I'll love you more than anybody can...

And the wind will whisper your name to me... Misty joins in, harmonizing with Brock.
Little birds will sing along in time
Leaves will bow down when you walk by
And morning bells will chime...

I'll be there when you're feeling down... Brock starts the second verse alone.
To kiss away the tears if you cry...
I'll share with you all the happiness I've found,
A reflection of the love in your eyes...

And I'll sing you the songs of the rainbow... Misty joins in again.
A whisper of the joy that is mine...
And leaves will bow down when you walk by,
And morning bells will chime...

I'll walk in the rain by your side... the campers join in.
I'll cling to the warmth of your tiny hand...
I'll do anything to help you understand,
And I'll love you more than anybody can...

And the wind will whisper your name to me

The camp roared with applause at the song's end--the campers didn't expect a full blown musical interlude.

As the request to play the song again grew louder and louder, Brock looked over at the others. "Should we?"

"That one's a camp favorite, so I see no harm in playing it again." Misty smiled. Ash and Serena nodded in agreement--it helped that Brock never tired of playing that song. He would play it with just as much energy and power the thousandth time as he had the first.

Brock returned to his chair, playing a G chord to quiet the chanting. "Okay, we'll do it one more time." he smiled, to thunderous cheers as Brock played the song's introduction again...

He figured he would save the rest for another night, and so the second day at camp came to an end.

It wasn't long before "Taps" rang across the camp to signal lights out.
