Cassandra smiled back to Lily. "You have a very sweet mother Lily," she says to Lily. She notices her Eevee chirped to Oiky to say he agrees. She looks to Lily while still smiling.

 

Cassandra smiled about how her mother was there for her when her friend passed away. Eevee smiles and wags his tail as he's being pet. Cassandra suddenly looks sad as she remembers her mother passed away, but remains calm. "I never really had any human friends except for my mom, but she passed away when I was six. When that happened, my father just stopped noticing me... I guess it's because I remind him of my mom a lot and it upsets him... I tried to socialize with others around my age, but they all rejected me. When I discovered the Pokémon living in the wild here, I started to hang out with them since they accepted me. And that's kind of the reason I usually hang out with Pokémon a lot more than with people," she said with a small chuckle of embarrassment. Her Eevee looked to Cassandra with a sad look as his ears folded down.

 

Cassandra giggled at the thought of Carvana. "yeah they can be real sweethearts once you get to know them," She said to Lily as she continues to giggle. Eevee smiles as he wags his tail while being held by Cassandra.

 

Cassandra smiled at Lily's question and looks up. "Yeah, it's very exciting," she replied as she continues to look up. Her Eevee looks up and looks confused as to what's so interesting to look up.

 

Cassandra smiles as she helps Eevee onto her shoulder. "Yup," she says to Lily. She then looks to Lily's mother. "Thank you for the pizza ma'am," she says to Lily's mom.

 

Cassandra smiles as she follows her friend with her partner on her shoulder. Once she and Lily were out of the house and out of town, they arrived to Route 12 and this route contains a lot of hills. "Wow, look at all of these steep hills Lily!" Cassandra said with surprise as she looks around at different hills as they walk by them.

 

Cassandra nodded in agreement. "Sure! Let's see if we can find some," she said to Lily with a smile as she looks around. Making a new Pokémon friend might be a great start for the two of them; plus, their Pokémon can have a friend as well.

 

"Then I think it's best to be careful around here," Cassandra replied to Lily as she looks around with her Eevee. When she looked up, she noticed some bird Pokémon flying above them. She looked to Lily. "Let's go," she said to her friend as she keeps walking.

 

Cassandra's Eevee had fought the rest of the wild Pokémon she and Lily had encountered. And just like Lily, none of them stayed around for being caught. But still, it's a lot of fun to have a battle with them. It brings her and Lily their next steps on being trainers. She looks to Lily as she smiles and nods in agreement. "Yeah, this is a ton of fun," she replied as she feeds Eevee a treat as well and petting him.

 

"I agree," Cassandra replied. However, she then looks confused as she still looks to Lily."But how are we going to catch it in time before it runs away?" she asks. Her Eevee lies down onto Cassandra's lap as he takes a small nap.
