One eternity later... Claire needed a moment to register everything. This oddly-dressed woman with an equally odd (though quite fitting) alias was an International Police officer? Was she here to deal with those Team Plasma goons? If that was the case, something was definitely odd about this whole affair. It might be useful for her to tag along, if only to get some additional information. Suddenly, Kalino was on the ground, groaning as a pale purple glow pulsed around him. From the handful of times she'd battled with Brutus, Claire recognized this as the effects of poisoning. That was the last thing she'd expected to deal with on this trip, but she hurriedly rummaged through her backpack looking for anything to help. She eventually found a single Lum Berry, a snack for Brutus in case he came down with something. She knelt down beside Kalino and offered him the Berry, saying, "Here, I don't know if this'll help, but it's better than nothing."
@ID Zeta @HiddenLore @RWBY Gaster @Jeydis "Thanks, Claire," Kalino said while grabbing the Lum Berry from Claire's hand and munching it. He kinda expected Pecha, but well, whatever. "Salazzle's Toxic is something else, aight," he mused as the Incineroar helped him to stand up. "Thanks, Cole," Kalino thanked the Incineroar. Figuring that Emma and Iceslash hadn't ever met before, Kalino decided to introduce them to each other. Turning to Emma, the teenager said, "Emma, this is Iceslash. She's looking for her trainer, so I'd appreciate it if you can help." And turning to Iceslash, he said, "Iceslash, this is Emma. She's just coming back to me, so... sorry about that." That being said, the two Pokémon came up to each other with Emma sheepishly apologized to Iceslash. "And just so you know, Claire..." Kalino turned to Claire. "Katey there has been, well, a crazy cat lady ever since we started our island challenges. This Incineroar here has been with her since she first got him as a Litten," he told the redhead lady everything he knew about Katey.
