Technological Nature

Time rifts have shifted our reality. Machines built of steel and wire hug our trees and foliage. The organized chaos of technology with the peaceful nature seems to excite the Time rifts. Perhaps if you confuse the time rifts by making an alter somewhere out there, we might be able to learn how they work. The information I've gathered is the time rifts dislike neatness, the messier the better.

Rules and Info

The time rifts activate around messes of wire and steel while combined with nature. The gentle calmness of nature draws it in while the mess of technology excites the rifts to open. You may use a phone or personal camera to make these shots. Once the time rifts calm down, we'll analyze the data and see what we get from the three traits of their intensity. (At the end of the event the team will score your photography on three traits)

Category 1 - Composition
This follows how the shot was taken, is the angle interesting? Is the lighting different that makes the photo exciting? How well is the photo framed and presented? The time rifts don't seem to like a blurry photo as well.

Category 2 - Editing
The time rifts enjoy the chaos of an editing software. You may fluctuate your photos to please the time rifts. This means, adjusting brightness, saturation, gain, and even adding new details. These can please the time rifts into becoming works of art to give forth a new tree of research!

Category 3 - Creativity
Bring forth a new idea to the rifts, and they'll excite further. A different type of location, exotic life, augmented realities with filters. All these please the time rifts opening them further to the future!

Prizes and Deadlines

We will pick 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each of the categories mentioned above!

First Place in a Category — 50 Points
Second Place in a Category — 30 Points
Third Place in a Category — 20 Points

Participation -- 10 Points + the Summer Scramble 2022 Participation Medal
