That's so like me!

Yuu from Charlotte is literally me inside.



Although it's pretty much impossible to find a character with the exact same personality as a real person, I do identify with him a lot. Especially during episode 7.

 

I saw one episode of an anime recently, don't remember what it was, but there was a character who looked like a secret agent of some kind. Black suit, tie, sunglasses, not very talkative or goofy but seemed like a total bamf (for a visual, I'm guessing something like FF7 Rude). He seemed to be the generic strong-silent type until some obligatory noisy/violent highschool secondary-main character girl came up to him and started going all "You just think you're so tough, like you have this rocky exterior, but I bet it's all a sham! Yeah, you're a real softie inside, but you're too afraid to show it because last time you did I bet some lady broke your heart and *rambles off*.", to which he replies. "No, I don't think so." I admit, I broke my own strong-silent thing right there and flipped out a little bit. I wish I knew what show it was.

Five years ago or so (and in the American Cartoons section) I would have said I'm most like Dib from Invader Zim. One day a female friend and I decided we were going to binge-watch the entire series, and I gladly agreed. Episode 1, first scene on earth is Gaz in the kitchen, she looks for soda in the fridge and there is none. Her first line: "Dib drank the last soda. He... will... pay..!" We laugh and agree it's so her. A few seconds later, Dib shows up, shouting about aliens and how "They're coming, they really are!" and when Gaz asks him who, he replies "I... don't... know... *wide-eyed stare*." And we both laugh and agree he's so me. Running off with half-baked ideas, all that.

Oh, and Gotot from Phoenix Wright. I haven't played any PW games, but I have been told my coffee addiction is comparable to Gotot's. I also like all these characters fashion senses [R] [D] [G], so that's good too.

 

One of my favourite things to do when watching a cartoon/anime (or movie, for that matter) is to find the character who's most like me. There's usually at least one major difference, but like Megarai and Blast said, there's practically no way a character's gonna be exactly like you.
