The Alphabet Tier

Welcome to the Alphabet Tier. This tier came about when me, @[member="Doomhound"] , and @[member="Nintega"] were talking random Pokémon nonsense during lunch at school. (as usual) Despite it being just some random and dumb idea it was actually a lot of fun to play. So what exactly is the Alphabet Tier? Well I'll tell you.

Rules:​

1. Pokémon found in the Ubers tier are banned, except Blaziken and Aegislash ​

​

2. Pokémon can learn any move and have any ability just like in hackmons, BUT there's a catch​

​

3. Pokémon can only have abilities and moves that start with the same letter of the alphabet as their names. Ex: Sunflora with Speed Boost and Signal Beam​

4. Pokémon can only have items that also start with the same letter as the Pokémon's name. Ex: Florges with Flame Orb​

​

5. Mega Pokémon are banned as they change their ability. There are currently no mega Pokémon who have an ability that also starts with the same letter as their name​

Those are the basics rules but their are some clauses, some of which exclusive to this tier:​

Sleep​

Evasion​

OHKO​

Moody​

New Clauses:​

​

1. Letter Clause: You may not have two Pokémon that have names that start with the same letter like Blaziken and Bastiodon. This is prevent teams that only use a couple very powerful letters like "S"​

2. Wonder Guard Clause: Wonder Guard is banned because it ruins the flow of the tier​

​

And just so you know nicknames do not count. Only the official English name of the Pokémon.​

So that's that. If you want to play in the tier you will have to challenge your opponent to a custom game or a hackmons battle. This tier is a ton of fun and if it gets popular enough here I can post some sets that I have found very effective. I'm also open to suggestions and this tier is still in testing so changes are welcome. Of course me, Doomhound, and Nintega get the final say though.

Slowbro will have to undergo a suspect test because he completely kills any momentum the opposing team has. You need to be running a ghost type to be able to deal with him.
