Do you follow that strange logic that if you're all tucked in the monster that could be under your bed can't get you?
Do you leap/take a big step to your bed in case something MAY be under there?
Do you sleep with your closet door closed?

Despite all of us being old enough to know there's no such thing, do you find yourself doing stuff like this?

I know that I do the first a lot, even though it's logically ridiculous.

    Mirrors.

I feel uncomfortable looking to a mirror in the dark. Its just unsetteling.
Also when i was a kid, i was super scared of the dark. I have gone over it, but it still lingers in the darkest corner of my psyche.

I sleep with the closet closed, but only because I always keep my closet closed anyway.

I sleep in the dark, and I take no leaps of faith. I'm in no immediate danger from the dust particles under my bed.

Yes, mirrors in the dark are creepy. I feel like I'll look into one and see something that isn't my own reflection D:

Hmm, I have some weird habits from when I was a kid. Taht whole 'all tucked in' thing, if you don't move, I always believed that things would not notice you if you weren't moving. Also, as a little kid, when I was really tired and looking for something down the side of my bed (since my bed is in the corner of my room) and I thought I saw some grey hand and I never slept on the side of the bed closest to the wall. Finally, I read a little kiddy horror book of fantasy monsters that said something about how the bogeyman would creak the door open to scare you before killing you, so if it doesn't have a door to open, it doesn't kill you (I basically keep my door open as habit).

He's an odd habit I've gotten over. I used to be unsettled in the dark. Not in a way to keep me up though. However walking through it, I'd pretend i was some sort of dark, evil creature. My logic was, if I'm tougher than them, and a dark creature like them, why would they attack me?

When I was a little kid, I'd always run straight for my bed and jump in the second I turned my lights out. The odd thing is that I never believed in monsters even back then, so I don't exactly remember why I did that so often. I make it a habit to keep my closet doors completely closed before going to sleep, still, but not out of the fear that any critters might live inside; it's just a little unsettling to have them open, for some reason.

I keep my closet door closed as a matter of course. I still have to deal with the bogeyman as my little brother often sees things and calls out,my room is right next to his so I often get woken up by "There's a shadow ", "There's something in my wardrobe " and the best " the blue thing from five nights at Freddies is in my wardrobe "

Usually what I do is leave my door a bit open, and a bit of light. I got rid of my flashlight years ago, and I don't think I'll need it to cope with that strange anxiousness of the monster under my bed.

I remember when I was little, I was terrified of such things. However, as I got older, I got scared of the reality of things. You know, murders, robbers, gunman, kidnappers, etc. Some people are scarier than monsters, and that's the reality of things. Yes, I keep my door locked, but not for a boogeyman but for the real life monsters we see in the news.
