A vine came out of the ground and twirled around Froakie’s arm, making it unable to move.

"I’m not holding back!" Lazuli answered. They were both around the same strength, which made the battles pretty fun.

Suddenly, she went down on the ground and stick her flower’s stem into it. A slight smile appeared on her face as she felt the nature’s power flowing through her veins.

"I’m just holding you, now!" she exclaimed before three new vines immobilized Froakie almost completely.

 

With her flower stuck into the ground, Lazuli didn’t manage to move fast enough to dodge the first Frubbles. Though, as Froakie continued throwing them tirelessly, she pulled herself back together, and, getting her Gracidea off the ground, she stirred a Fairy Wind up. As the wind was getting more powerful, the projectiles being thrown by the Bubble Frog Pokémon began to turn against him.

 

Lazuli’s eyes glowed fluorescent as she used her Psychic powers to collect all the Frubbles that had fell on the floor, using most of them as a shield against Froakie’s bubbles. She gathered the remaining Frubbles around her opponent’s hands and some vines raised from the ground to keep them together, stopping him short.
As she kept her hold on the vines, she traded Psychic for Synthesis and started healing herself.

 

While keeping on Synthesis, Lazuli summoned vines that left as quickly as they came after popping some Bubbles. Seeing as they were too many, she called the thickest vines she could to raise all around her and made a dome under which she finished healing. When she was done, she burst out and used Fairy Wind to fly around faster.

 

As she was flying, Lazuli's feels of the earthquake were just vibrations in the air, but she could sense it was powerful.
"Woah!! What was that?" Froakie asked.
"I… have no idea, but it was kinda scary…" she answered.
"Maybe we should go check that no one got hurt by something falling."

 

Destruction was to be found all around them.
"Ah, shoot…" Lazuli sighed. That was gonna take some time for everything to be repaired.
While she was glancing around, Froakie found a Squirtle that was trapped by a tree. As he tried to push the trunk, the Floette used Psychic to help lift it. It was quite heavy, but they managed to get the Turtle Pokémon out.
As they were thanking them, Lazuli saw other Pokémon getting up to look for ones who needed help.
"We could go help them too!" she suggested to her partner.

 

Lazuli quickly reached for the mons in the tree with her vines and got the other ones with Psychic. After getting all of them on safe ground, she had a slight headache, but was still okay. The Froakie and the Floette kept on helping Pokémon for a while, and soon everyone was found.

 

"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm okay, don't worry," the Floette assured. "It's just a little headache because I used my psychic powers a lot," she explained.
"Anyway, I'm happy we could help finding everyone!" she added, smiling.

 

"Yeah, good idea…" Lazuli answered, suddenly feeling very tired as the excitement was flowing back.
The Pokémon said goodbye to each other and both returned to their home, hoping it wasn't broken.
