    PLEASE tell me I'm not the only one that gets this reference... Seriously, they're trying SO HARD to rope in the original fans of the Pokémon anime, but regardless I could not stop laughing; my sides actually started to hurt, and that doesn't often happen.

    (spoilers from a Japanese episode of Sun/Moon, or whatever the latest one is)

    Seems like it, though I haven't seen the RGU reference yet. I just happened to catch this on Twitter and - having grown up on Gundam - had me laughing hysterically.
