The Days to Remember.

Summary: When Ash Ketchum is transferred into a prestigious High school. He finds a childhood friend which he has had a crush on since forever. The only problem is she doesn't recognize him or remember him and she is completely oblivious to his feelings.

Author Notes: This is just something I wanted to do so leave a review or something I could care less.

A familiar raven haired boy stood in front of a famous school known as 'Kalos U'. The school is quite famous for being the school that multiple Kalos celebrities graduated from. The raven haired boy held his phone to his ear.

"Ash please be careful I've paid a lot of money to send you to this school!" Mrs. Ketchum said

"Yeah don't worry mom I'll be fine..." Ash said as he looked at the grandiose building that stood before him. He let out a small breath as he hung up the phone. "Well this is my new school I guess..."

Ash took his first few steps towards the new chapter in his life. The school had a huge spacious front foyer. The school seemed to have three floors as Ash noticed a few students walking on the upper floors. The environment was breath taking but right now wasn't the time for sight seeing. He pulled out his phone and opened up a map of the school.

"Aw man... how the hell am I going to find the main office! Well I better start looking..." Ash thought. His trip took him around 30mins of solid walking. The school was almost like a maze to him. He found himself reaching destinations he's already been to. Like the front foyer. He also managed to find the gym which was massive!

"Ah finally the main office!" Ash yelled as he swung open the door. There he saw a confused lady just staring at him.

"Uh hello can I help you?" The lady asked

"Yeah I'm the new student Ash Ketchum. My mom registered me here. So I was wondering if you could tell me where my classes were." Ash responded

"Oh come right this way!" The lady said. She led Ash through a few hallways and they somehow ended up at the principle's office. "Here you go young man the principle will sort everything out for you!"

"Thanks!" Ash said as he walked into the office.

"Ah bonjour! Comment t'appelle tu?" the principle said

"Uh sorry but I don't speak Kalosian...." Ash said

"Well hello there I'm assuming you're Ash Ketchum then!" the principle

"Yup that be me" Ash said

"Tres bien! je m'appelle Professor Sycamore!"

"It's nice to meet you too!" Ash said as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Well anyway I'll show you your guide to the school!" Sycamore said as he led Ash out of his office.

They made it back to the main lobby. There Ash saw a boy who looked about his age holding a phone. The boy had auburn hair a somewhat smug look.

"Ah Gary Oak there you are! Here is the student you're going to guide around the school!" Sycamore said

"Sure thing professor!" Gary said "Ok new kid follow me and don't fall behind!"

"Alright..." Ash said as he followed Gary through multiple halls.

"So tell me new kid how'd ya even get into this school?" Gary asked

"Well my mom enrolled me in so you know the rest of the story..." Ash said

"Loosen up I'm not gonna bite by the way what's your name?" Gary asked

"Oh it's Ash Ketchum!"

"Ketchum huh... are by any chance related to Delia Ketchum?" Gary asked

"Yeah... you know my mom?" Ash said

"In a way. My grandfather Samuel Oak is good friends with her!" Gary responded "So anyway what are you looking for in this school?"

"Ok well... I don't really know. I guess I'm working towards a battle instructor." Ash said

"That's defiantly a goal!" Gary said "Here let me see your time table."

"Oh sure!" Ash said as he handed Gary a crumpled piece of paper.

"Wow the first day and your papers are already crumpled... anyway looks like I have first and last period with you. Well we better get to class early before the hallways get to crowded. It might be easier for you to learn the layout of the school if its not crowded." Gary said

"Alright!" Ash said

It took Ash and Gary a few minutes to reach their first period class. The classroom was very similar to Ash's original school. The desks were set up in rows which Ash wasn't to particularly fond of. Gary sat in the second row it just so happened that he had an open seat next to him.

"Well what ya waiting for Ash sit down." Gary said

"Alright" Ash said

"Don't worry the teacher in this class isn't that bad just as long as you aren't an asshole!" Gary laughed

A few more students trickled into the classroom, but one student in particular caught Ash's attention. A beautiful girl with long soft honey blond hair walked in. Her blue eyes were so kind gentle and friendly.

"No way... is that Serena Mayuki..." Ash thought

"Ha good luck man that girl is basically a princess in the school I doubt you have a chance with her!" Gary laughed

Ash quickly snapped back into reality "Is her name Serena Mayuki by any chance?" Ash asked

"Oh you know her name already? Do you know her from somewhere?" Gary asked

"I can't believe it... Serena Mayuki my childhood friend!" Ash said as he got up and walked towards Serena's desk.

"Hey Serena!" Ash yelled

"Uh... um... are you talking to me?..." Serena asked

"What you don't know who I am?" Ash said

"I'm sorry aren't you that new kid who transferred?" Serena asked

"Yeah but I'm Ash Ketchum doesn't that ring a bell or something?" Ash asked

"Nope sorry... but it's nice to meet you!" Serena said "Now right now I'm busy so could you leave me alone..." "Wow that kid was a dork" Serena thought

"Ok sorry for bugging you..." Ash said as he sat back down beside Gary.

"Real smooth man... you really know how to make a good first impression!" Gary laughed

"Oh shut up! Serena is good friend from when I was in grade 2!" Ash yelled

"Sure what ever you say!" Gary laughed even harder. He quickly saw his friend Trip walk by and sit in the front row.

"Hey Trip what's up?" Gary asked

"Nothin much how about you?" Trip asked

"Well this is Ash he's a new student! This guy is a fucking champ he went up to Serena and talked to her!" Gary said

"What really!? How quickly did you get shot down new guy!?" Trip yelled

"He got shot down pretty fast Trip right now I'm too lazy can you explain why Ash can't just walk up to Serena..." Gary said

"Sure thing pal... anyway the name is Trip nice to meet you!"

"Nice to meet you too Trip the name's Ash."

"Well anyway so what I've heard is you got shot down by Serena. The thing is she's basically a princess of this school. She's on the top of the cast system and in order to even hold a conversation with her you're going to have to climb the cast system yourself. If you even want a chance at talking with her!" Trip explained

"But I asked if she remembered me!" Ash yelled

"Oh and let me guess she doesn't remember you and you were probably good friends with her in the past!" Trip said

"How did you guess..." Ash said

"It's just something I've always been able to do!" Trip boasted "Anyway you're still extremely new to the school so its defiantly possible to jump up to a king or prince within your first week."

"Well how do I do that?" Ash asked

"You got to know how to talk to girls... uh you have to know how to deal with problems and most of all you got to be rich!" Trip said

The class was quite boring for Ash as it was the same old same old school. The teacher made them write down a few notes answer a few questions. Ash nearly fell asleep during class but Gary made sure he didn't.

Gary said his good byes as he showed Ash to his 2nd period class which he hoped would be more exciting. He met up with the teacher and sat down at a free desk. He was in the 3rd row which he didn't mind. There were a few posters of type match up theory as well as a few posters with cheesy quotes.

A girl that wore a white beanie and had blue hair sat beside him. She was quite pretty, but Ash clearly focused on how to get Serena to notice him.

"Hey! Hello earth to new person!" They girl yelled

"Oh what!? Uh... sorry um... hello" Ash said

"Took you long enough! Anyway you seem new my name's Dawn its nice to meet you!"

"Oh the name's Ash so what's this class for and how's the teacher?"

"The class is science and meh... the teacher is alright... he's a little grouchy!" Dawn said "But there's no need to worry! As long as you don't disobey him or talk back you'll be fine!"

"Ha ha thanks!" Ash said with a smile

Class had started and it was a lesson on Pokémon anatomy. Ash was bored out of his mind. Science wasn't exactly what you would call Ash's specialty. He looked over at Dawn who was playing Pokémon battle simulations on her phone. Ash was slightly entertained by that.

"So Ash do you know about the cast system yet?" Dawn whispered

"Uh... right now I only know that Serena Mayuki is a princess." Ash said

"Oh let me guess Trip and Gary huh?" Dawn said

"How'd ya know?" Ash asked

"They refer the cast system as royalty. Everyone has their own way of representing the cast system, but Trip and Gary were the ones who basically invented it. Here look at this... its a layout of the cast system" Dawn said as she showed a layout of the cast system to Ash on her phone.

Ash saw a pyramid of ranking of who was the authority of the school within the students. There he saw that Serena was at the very top. He saw that Gary and Trip as well as Dawn were nearly at the bottom.

"Why are you near the bottom?" Ash asked

"Uh... well I got a few quirks... but there is no need to worry! I'm fine with the spot I'm in!" Dawn said

"Miss Hikari I'll have to confiscate your phone again!!!!!" The teacher yelled "Now hand it over!!!"

"Ok..." Dawn said as she walked up to the front of the class. She handed the teacher her phone.

"Wait!!!!" Ash yelled. He held the attention of the class. The teacher gave him a sharp stern look. Every student held their breath.

"Yes what is it Mr. Ketchum!!!" The teacher said sternly

"Look Dawn doesn't deserve to get her phone taken away! I'm the reason her phone was out!" Ash said

"This has nothing to do with you! But since your still new I won't punish you..." The teacher said

"But!" Ash yelled

"Ash it's fine don't worry..." Dawn said

Dawn sat back down in her seat and looked at Ash. "Hey thanks... but you didn't have to do that you know... you... you really know how to make a first good impression... Ash... no Ash Ketchum..."

"I just feel so guilty... it's all my fault..." Ash said

"There's no need to worry! I'll get my phone back at the end of the day!" Dawn said as she put a smile on her face.

"Ok if you say so..." Ash said

The class continued on as normal. Once it had ended it was lunch. Now lunch at Kalos U was extremely important for the cast system since it allowed people to move up or fall even further down.

"Hey Ash did you want to sit with me at lunch?" Dawn asked

"Sure!" Ash said "Can we just stop by my locker I need to grab my lunch!"

"Sure thing!" Dawn said

In the cafeteria Ash and Dawn both found a small table to sit beside each other. Ash pulled out a small black box and set it out in front of him.

"Ah thanks of the food!" Ash said as he opened the box.

"Wow!!!! that looks so good! Where did you buy that!?" Dawn squealed

"I didn't buy this! I made it myself its called a bento!" Ash said

"A bento are you Kantoian by any chance?" Dawn asked

"Yup you would be correct!" Ash said

"Oh cool!" Dawn said

Dawn pulled out a sandwich that was packed to the brim with meat which she happily ate. She quickly finished her sandwich but was still hungry.

"Aw man... I thought that sandwich would be enough..." Dawn said

"Oh are you still hungry?" Ash asked

"Yeah... I don't have enough money to buy another sandwich though..." Dawn said as she rested her head on the table.

"Here I'll be glad to share my food with you!" Ash said. He pulled out an extra pair of chopsticks and handed them to Dawn.

"Ash you don't have to do that... and plus I can't use chopsticks...." Dawn said as soft tears appeared.

"Oh don't worry you can just use your hands! I did it when I was a kid!" Ash said with a big smile.

"Ok..." Dawn said. She picked up a rice ball and took a big bite out of it. "Wow!? Mmmmm this is soooo gooood!!!! Ash! You really know how to cook!"

"Oh really... its just some rice with a little bit of fish inside..." Ash said as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Hey there's Ash!" Gary yelled as he sat beside him. Trip followed along as well.

"Hey Ash we finally found you!" Trip said as he looked at the girl eating Ash's lunch.

"Phone girl its been awhile!" Trips said

"Dawn well long time no see!" Gary said

"Hi guys!" Dawn said

"Uh phone girl?" Ash said with confusion

"You see Ash, Dawn here is quite well know for getting her phone taken away!" Gary said with a smirk

"Yup she gets her phone taken away every single day! What are ya going to do?" Trip said

"Oh calling me phone girl again! How about I just call you guys by your nicknames huh! Gary the Yaoi fan and Trip the Hentai mage!" Dawn yelled

"Shut up!!!!" Gary and Trip both yelled

"Heh it looks like the porn watchers are hanging out again!" A guy with purple hair laughed.

"Geez Paul what do you want this time!" Trip yelled

"Can you just leave us alone!" Gary said

"But that would take the fun out of it! Oh Dawn how've ya been!" Paul laughed

"Can't you just leave me alone!" Dawn yelled

Paul looked over at Ash and didn't recognize him. "Hey you are you new around here?"

"Who me?" Ash said

"Yeah now answer my question. Are you new around here?" Paul asked

"Yeah I just transferred here today!" Ash said confidently

"Well why don't you hang out with me and the princesses! And leave the dirt behind!" Paul said

"Hey look here! I'm not going to hang out with people who think that highly of themselves! So take your filthy attitude and leave!" Ash yelled

"Look here pal I am the king of this school! The princesses suck up to me! I don't care if your new but no one talks back at me!!!" Paul yelled

"Oh yeah I don't give a single fuck that you're the king!!!" Ash yelled

Paul's blood was boiling his face was turning extremely red. A crowd had gathered around the commotion.

"Fight! Fight! Fight!" Everyone was chanting

Paul fed off that energy and quickly threw a punch at Ash's way. Ash quickly moved out of the way and held Paul's wrist. Paul quickly took his other hand and smacked Ash in the face making him fall to the ground.

Paul stood above Ash and started kicking him hard. The powerful kicks were echoed through the entire cafeteria.

"Heh how does it feel to be treated like dirt! You'll never climb your way to the top!" Paul yelled

Ash stopped moving as his body went limp. Suddenly the attacks stopped as a familiar honey blonde haired girl held Paul back.

"Babe! Stop he's new he doesn't know his place yet!" Serena said

"Why are you sucking up to him!" Paul yelled

"I'm not I just don't want you to get in trouble again!" Serena yelled

"Fine... your lucky new kid but next time expect no mercy!" Paul said as he left.

Dawn quickly ran over to Ash and held him in her arms "Ash are you okay!" Dawn yelled

Ash quickly got up and stretched his arms "He calls those kicks how weak!" Ash laughed

"What... you're not hurt..." Dawn said as she stood up.

"Nope!" Ash said. "I've taken self defense classes! I didn't want to embarrass the guy so I let him kick me a bit!"

"Geez you had me worried!" Dawn said

"Hey look there's no need to worry Dawn!" Ash said which made Dawn blush a small amount.
