"I think he's on to something," Marina said, but she immediately cut herself off. "Nevermind. Let's get going then!"

The group continued to go down the hall until they met three more Alex-es with their backs turned. The one in the middle was holding a wand, the one on the right was holding a sword, and the one on the left was holding a dagger. "I think we found who we are looking for, then."

Erik flinched at the first attack. Alex was strong, and it would take quite a lot of damage to take him down. He started off with Protect Ally, hoping it would buy his teammates a few extra turns - and spared them from any status effects. He spent most of his time defending, anyway.

Erik flinched from the damage, but he knew that at least the damage was minimal. "There were three of him. Maybe your attacks landed on the illusions, but that's just a theory for now." Hoping that Alex didn't have a way of breaking it, he tried Shield Barrier.

Erik flinched. "What... what was that?!" His health was low - he wouldn't last much longer now. Hoping to at least get some last hits in before he fell, he swung his sword blindly at the illusion, hoping Alex didn't attack again.
