Zaria listened in. "Purified water." she whispered. "So the princess wil come. now im lost" she mostly thought
@Tala "I guess that's why Lady June wanted everything to be polished for her arrival," the maid continued, cutting the leaves that were already dried up and dead. "But you know," the other maid turned to her friend, "what's interesting is that we don't have a set date yet. When do you think she's coming?" The other maid looked at the ground. "Hmm, hopefully it's not a week from now or else our work will be wasted."
@Tala @ChocoChicken The maids continued talking about nothing in particular before leaving the hall. Marina, Marco, and Erik all saw the maids exiting as they were entering the room. Inside was Zaria, who seemed quite stressed over something, or at least that's what Marina thought. "Looks like they really like this Lady June huh," Marco remarked, breaking the silence in the room. "All we heard from the people were compliments." Marina then looked at Zaria, "Did you manage to find anything interesting in the castle, Zaria?"
"O..uh no nothing" she answeted not wanting to show Marina her weakness from just had happener. she stood up. "You all nothint either it seems. but some princess and king ar3 coming
"WHAT?!" Marco exclaimed, surprised when she heard what Zaria said. "The King and the Princess? Word got out so fast about the orb..." A moment of silence followed. "Hey guys," Marco spoke, finay breaking thr silence thst had been plaguing the room, "do you think we should trust Lady June? I mean, we have to come up with a decision before today ends, right?" Marina nodded. "Well, I think it's fair to give her the benefit of the doubt. It's not like we heard anything bad about her today, right?"
@Tala @ChocoChicken The group waited for time to pass as Lady June returned to the hall. She looked at all four of them before speaking. "I believe you have made up your minds, yes?" Marina glanced at Erik, still wondering what his opinion was. However, if both Marco and Zaria were on board, it might be okay. "Uhm, yes. We've decided to... Accept your offer." The Duchess smiled and clapped her hands in excitement. "Brilliant," she said, "Aster, please assist them to their rooms." Her assistant nodded before showing the group outside the hall.
Zaria glanced one more time to the lady as she walked behind Aster with the others. "Always be on guard just incase" she whispered to the group
The group was shown their own space in Natlyn Castle. The main area was a hall which was more like a fancy living room decorated with statues of ladies holding flowers and some small fountains at the corners. There were chairs and couches at the middle of the room, and what was interesting was that the ceiling in the middle of the room was glass, allowing light to pass through. The hall had four doors that led to bedrooms, which meant that everyone in the group had their own bedroom. When all was done, Aster left the area, the large doors closing with a loud sound. "This place is quite... extravagant? Amazing?" Marina was like a child, easily excited by things. "No, that would be an understatement..."
"It's... definitely something to marvel at," Marco remarked as he looked around. "It really makes you realize that this place is a castle."
"Must bw fun to have so much money" Zaria answered. she was impressed but didnt show it. "Marina look around for anything odd or suspicous"
"Yeah, something still seems... off. She met us less than a day ago. Why is she doing all this?" the Knight added.
"Isn't it because of how useful the orb is?" Marina said, thinking it may be the answer to Erik's question. "I hope it's nothing more than that though." When Zaria began narrating her experience in the castle, the girl was shocked. "So that's why you looked so worried earlier." "But you didn't hear what the main thing they were talking about was, right?" Marco asked with worry. "There could be a chance that she's lying or telling the truth."
