The duck walked up to the lemonade stand, and he said to the man running the stand. “Hey”

Bom bom bom “is there any birthdays today?”
The man said “no, this is just a joke the writer is forcing while he passes time”

the duck stared at the man “okay! Can I have a grape?”
The man said “No I only have pepsi, is pepsi okay?”
The duck said “I’ll pass”

And he waddled away, waddle waddle. Till the very next day

“Got any birthdays?”
The man sighs “I told you before this is just a time sink. There is no purpose there is no reason there is just isolation here”
“Jeez that’s tough. Got any grapes” the duck asked the man running the store

“Listen duckie. The two of us can live a happy life if you just stop waddling up here. Please let the memory and past die.”

“Mmmm I’ll pass.”


And he waddled away, waddle waddle. And he waddled away, waddle waddle. Till the very next day

“Well there’s no more birthdays. No ones come around since you started to waddle in these parts of town. I wonder what would’ve happened if we’d never met. You damned beast.” The man lit a cigarette watching the duck stare at him lifeless.
“Do you have any grapes?” The duck asked
“Get out”
