The Fight For... (Mist x Hime)

Aera managed a weak smile to Ashley's suggestion. She was still afraid of who they might suddenly face if they weren't careful.

Suddenly, the maze began to shake violently, letting lose small pieces of rock everywhere. "W-what's happening?!" Aera called, looking around.

 

Ashley's efforts helped the rocks to stop from falling into them directly. The violent shaking of the ground also stopped. Aera was about to release a sigh of relief, when all of a sudden, a black beast came from the direction they were facing.

(In this battle, you may attack either using spells, or using weapons.)

The beast uses Slash... and it misses!
The girls swiftly dodge the Beast's attack, landing on their feet.

"Argh, what in the world is that thing doing here?!?!" Aera yelled as she put up her rapier in defense. She then concentrated her energy to it and releases a spell.

Aera uses Air Slash... and she succeeds!
The Air Slash hits the chest of the Beast, making it roar in pain.

Ashley uses Wave Pulse... and she succeeds!
Gathering water from under the grates, Ashley creates a large wave that sweeps the Beast away, dealing critical damage!

The Beast uses Slash... and it succeeds!
The Beast uses its claws to retaliate by slashing Aera and Ashley, dealing massive damage!

Aera falls onto the ground, weakened severely. It was only a matter of time till they'd be defeated. "Nobody warned us about this..."

 

All of a sudden, a large stream of fire shot out from a distance, hitting the Beast.

After the fire managed to take it down, the monster disintegrated into thin air. Just behind Aera and Ashley were Selia and Marco who came closer to them. "W-wait, they're coming for us!" Aera managed to get up and push herself to move away from Selia and Marco. Right now, even though they helped them, they are still considered enemies according to the rules.

 

"Go and burn!" Selia quickly tries to use magic, but she is suddenly stopped when Aera and Ashley began to glow in a bright white light.

Aera and Ashley both regained energy and their injuries were also healed. However, it didn't stop their opponents from attacking them.

Selia uses Flamethrower... and she misses!
The flamethrower makes it way through the maze, but it ultimately misses its intended targets.

Aera infuses herself with the air surrounding her, making her body lighter and faster.

Concentrating water into one direction, Ashley manages to put her enemies out of balance.

Marco gathers the rocks around him to form an armor that raises his defense.

Aera uses Wind Rush on Selia... and she succeeds!
Aera uses the wind surrounding her so that she will be enveloped into a twister that she launches towards Selia.

A large storm cloud loomed around the group, making it rain. Water Magic's damage has been increased and Fire Magic's damage has been decreased!

Raising the ground, Marco makes large spikes of earth appear, hitting Ashley and Aera!

Aera uses Air Jet... and she misses!
Compressing air around her, Aera launches a jet of air that horribly misses her intended target.

"Do you think we can take him down?" Aera asked Ashley as she tried to breathe normally.

Ashley quickly gathers the rain around her and quickly released them towards Marco, dealing critical damage!

Marco seems to be drained. His rock armor slowly fell into the ground after the rocks lost control that needed to come from a wizard. He struggled to keep himself up. Finally, Marco's legs weakened and he fell onto the ground, exhausted and unable to move. That was the perfect opportunity to run away from Selia and Marco!

"Come on, we have to get out of here!" Aera tugged on Ashley's shirt. Both girls took a great amount of damage and were noticeably exhausted. "Which way, left or right?"

 

"Let's get going then!" Aera said as she dragged Ashley along with her and ran to the right. It has been a full straight line for a long time already so things arent as hectic as she thought. It was then when they reached another part of the maze. They have the choice of going left or right.

"I'm going to choose this time, oay?" Aera said as she went to the left.

"Can you please wake up now?" Selia hit Marco's face hard, causing him to moan in pain. The boy began to stand up soon after.

"Get off of me. I need to do something," Marco began dusting off his clothes which were dusted when the rocks fell apart from his body. He began to enter a meditating position.

 

Selia chuckled at the sight of Marco who went in a meditating position. "Look, whatever you're doing is not helping us in any way. We have to chase after them." However, Marco didn't pay attention to Selia's remarks. Instead, he meditated, entering the Spirit World.

The Spirit World was beautiful; fully grown trees that shot high in the sky, crystal clear water, and a warm temperature that made everything perfect. Waiting in the Spirit World was Marco's ally, a majestic white dragon. Marco tapped its head and talked to it telepathically. "Friend, I need your assistance. Please look for our enemies in the Real World."
