Welcome to the RP!​

This is a sequel of sorts to the Short Format RP ☼ Hearts of Shadows ☪ by LunarRabbitPikachu​

Rules​

​

Rule 1: Anarchy. All Lake Valor General & RP rules apply, yadda yadda yadda. Don't need to tell you that, right?
Rule 2: 1'm t3h l33te5t. When writing, try to make sure your text isn't incomprehensible gibberish. We want to know what your character is doing!
Rule 3: Three weeks later. If for some reason you won't be able to post for a while, warn us beforehand! (Or at least try!) No one likes to be left behind. (I know I don't) Which brings us to...
Rule 4: Eat my Dust. No marathon-posting! Let others time to catch up if they haven't posted in a long time.

Setting​

The adventure starts (Or continues!) in Acopalysis, a sort of convergent half-dimension where all manner of beings live together in an odd society. Humans, Mutants, Aliens, Furries, Monsters, Ghosts, Pokémon, Moogles, and a whole assortment of other mythical and copyrighted creatures are the kind of people that live here. It's like a great big world where all OCs and Fanfics from series and video games exist together.

Story​

While such a utopia lost in a parallel time-lapse may seem like all peaches and cream, there's trouble afoot. (You saw that coming didn't you?) And when I say trouble, I mean your usual world-spanning dimension-wide catastrophe that could be the end of all ever. (No biggie!)
As fate would have it, a group of Heroes have all coincidentally joined up together in one place. After a little useless squabble, the Heroes are approached by [acronym='heez mai char lul']Derahex,[/acronym] an age-old being self-proclaiming itself as a protector of the universe. He tells the Heroes about the imminent crisis: An ancient evil, Demonia, is on the verge of recovering her full strength. The Heroes, concerned for the population of the world (Most of them, anyway.), agree to help stop Demonia. Derahex then gives the Heroes directions and equipment, and sends them off on their quest, retreating back to his own world to recover his lost strength. Who knows what the journey has in store for them? Will they meet new allies... Or enemies? Only one way to find out...TO ADVENTURE, MY FRIENDS!

About the characters​

More rules, ya.

Character Limit: You may have up to 5 characters, not including Familiars and Partner Pokémon. More on that in the Character Profiles thread.
Mighty Heroes: Unless otherwise stated in your profile, it is assumed your character is a Hero. What makes a Hero different from any other person? Well, Heroes are recognized as being in some way superior than the bulk of civilization, usually in sheer [acronym='Guess how high?']power level[/acronym]. They have the power to shape their own destiny, or shape the world itself. Some Heroes are good, some are bad, some don't quite know yet. It's all your choice.
Select your character: Your character(s) can be almost anything you want! Fanfics, slightly edited canon characters, original creations, on-the-spot quick inventions just for this RP, whatever! Keep it PG-13 though. Please.
Bordering on Stu-ery: Most characters in this RP are very strong, almost demi-godlike. But they all have compensating weaknesses. Sure, you can play an ordinary guard with virtually no weak points, but that's pretty dull. Bottom line: The more OP the character, the greater the weak point (Or number of weaknesses).

Because Shornen is of the Saying race, he can go hyper, which gives him near-invulnerability and laser-shooting powers. While he's hyper, his hair glows a bright gold. However, if the large scar on his back (Childhood injury) sustains any physical damage, he risks getting paralyzed for a few seconds, leaving him wide open for bashing up.

Not total Stu-ery: If you decide to kill all the Villains or Heroes in one fell swoop, you better have a damn good explanation. Chances are, you won't. No godmodding! (You can, however one-shot a whole wave of minions, but it will be expected that such an attack will be taxing on the character)
A Critical hit!: Never assume that the character you are attacking will be hit. Leave them the decision as to whether they evade it or not. This can avoid some confusion. Don't worry, everyone thinks fair, your character can't miss all the time!

Uhh... What now?: If you're not sure on how to introduce your character, or want your character to be pre-embedded in the plot (A servant of an existing Villain, for example), don't hesitate to PM me and I'll help any way I can!

A million apologies for the delay. I was sneak-attacked by a rather occupying event that kept me from any computer-related contact for the past days.
Without further ado, let us finally start!

In an dark, overcast land, far away from any civilization, towering above all else; The Bleak Keep. Within its vile fathoms, in the most somber place in this world, a dark figure is hunched down, with a fiendish grin on its face. "The time has come. Soon all the world will perish by my hand, scarring a name on this dimension' dead husk, and on the posthumous warped souls killed by my darkness. That name will echo throughout the Universe, opening doors for me to continue my banquet of blood. Remember this name, mortals, and fear it, sanctify it, revere it. Demonia!"

Xagiv saw Derahex teleport away, and gave everyone a moment to get accustomed to their new gifts, think about the plan, take care of their Pokémon, or whatever they might be doing. After a moment though, she decided to speak up. "We need to get moving. If Demonia's power is as great as the Red One says it is, and if she really is on the verge of attaining full power, we must not wait a moment more."

Despond took a step toward the group: "I agree. At the very least, I'll get to train against this "Demon"'s minions, so I have something to gain from this, but we won't be meeting any "friends" standing around here!"

 

(Back in action!)

Xagiv saw the rest of the group get along with Rhogar. Hm. I didn't notice him before. Probably the work of the Red One. She thought. Xagiv then approached Rhogar and said. "I am Xagiv. It is good you are here, we will need all the help we can get."

Then the sun came down, and Ashlee changed into her Pikachu form. After everyone's initial surprise, Ashlee quickly suggested that they get a move on. So the group started their journey to the west.
While walking, Despond went next to Ashlee, chuckled. "Heheheh! So your curse does this eh? That's quite interesting. We'll have to find some time to chat when this is over..." He said with a provocative grin.

Xagiv watched Despond talk away. If she still had emotions, she would probably be pretty exasperated now. "I have a feeling this one will be more trouble then he's worth." She turned to Rhogar and tried to strike conversation with him too. "You are to aid us on our quest? So, what do you specialize in? I heard Paladins have a variety of choices on what Oaths to chose from. I wonder if Bahamut's power reaches all the way in this dimension as well..."
