Ah, the Internet. Where would we be without all them connected computer networks, hmm?

Simply put: what aspects of this world-bridging technology do you really like? What parts do you hate?

Personally, I love being able to ask Google a random question and receive a host of possible answers, some of which may or may not be true, but even so. Things like Wikipedia and other cited reference sites are a godsend.

Google and Wikipedia, for looking up information and learning things - seriously, the advent of the Internet means that knowledge is so easily accessible, and I love it.
Interconnectivity with other people - I can make and maintain friends that live halfway across the world, and to this day it's how I've kept many of my friends; I find it's a wonderful idea, as I am meeting people I would never meet otherwise. (And playing games with them too, come to think of it.)
Youtube! It may seem silly, but I love using Youtube as a music resource, as it's a (free) way to expand my music repertoire, including into genres I would not have thought to investigate.

Tumblr, Reddit, and 4chan. Seriously, why do you exist!?

Everything else I haven't mentioned about the Internet is most likely an aspect I am neutral towards.

This! So. Darn. Much! I've gained an insight in the past 10 years of my internet surfing that has so far been far greater than any of the textbooks I've acquired down through the years. And, one of the huge advantages to the internet is, unlike textbooks which rely on new editions being published, the internet and web pages are constantly being updated almost on a daily basis as new data is released.

Sadly, this is that shadow that comes with such a never ending learning opportunity, where the worst of humanity congregates. Because of the existence of these sites alone, one must acquire an ironclad demeanor, and must be able to rebuff criticism, which, in the case of Tumblr especially, sadly comes with the territory.
