    You both have your starting skills out of the gate. Ash starts with Fire Arrow, Ice Arrow, Lightning Arrow, and all basic elemental spells plus Cure; Misty starts with Magic Blade, Ice Blade, and Healing Flow; Serena starts with Flamme Rouge, Eclair d'Larmes, and Lumiere d'epee.
