The Kalos Pokédex

I really liked the Kalos Dex, as it gave enough variety for the VGC metagame to ban significant threats from last generation like Thundurus, Landorus, and Heatran while still having a reasonable excuse to keep some of the others. I liked it.

 

I loved the variety of old Pokémon. It made the new ones feel like they had always been there. The lack of new Pokémon doesn't bother me as if they kept making so many things would get out of hand too fast and this is a way to slow it down. Also Mega Evolution. <3

 

I liked the Kalos dex in terms of Variety for the main game and story. I did not like the Kalos dex when it came to the Pokémon you can use during VGC'14, cause it was the main reason i felt this years meta was boring/broken.

 

I loved the Kalos dex! Like everyone said, it had a nice variety, and with the three sections it made completing it seem a little more manageable haha.

 

The Kalos dex somewhat confused me but I like how it was separated into different areas based on the geography of the region. I personally really liked it.

 

I actually felt like it was a little too much!

As someone who enjoys sticking around in routes and catching all available Pokémon before I proceed, the Kalos dex made it very very difficult. Eventually I stopped hunting for Pokémon and moved forward since there were so many to catch that I couldn't keep up. It's nice to have a variety but it was slightly extreme for a dedicated collector like myself. Took a while to go back and catch everything I'd missed along the way.

Lack of new 'mons doesn't bother me, though I admit I almost forgot we had new Pokémon because so many of them were from older gens lool.

 

I really liked the dex, it had a variety of different Pokémon and thanks to the kalos dex, you can see which part of kalos the Pokémon are on.

 

I think the split Pokédex was really cool, but it wasn't necessary. They could've done without it, but it was a nice feature anyway.

 

It was nice that the Pokédex got split up, it was a nice change... Although it didn't really make any real difference.
