For @Xarn It was another day in Alola for the brown haired knight Xarn. He was doing his usual duty of training some kids on the Island of the Elite Four of Alola. He had sort of adopted them as his kids because they had nobody to help them. When he got over to the building of the Elite 4, all the Kahuna's looked a little ecstatic. "What's gotten into everyone?" "Xarn! There's a Champion of another region here!" "Oh yeah who Luna?" Luna was his female student and the youngest at 10, she was almost set to go on her island challenge. "Cynthia of the Sinnoh region! She likes dragons too!" "WHo likes dragons too?" The blonde haired Cynthia appeared before them without a word. "The fair Knight of Alola Cynthia! This is our teacher Xarn!" Sol was excited as well. "It's an honor to meet you Xarn. These kids speak non-stop about you," Cynthia chuckled. Xarn looked at them and instead of sticking around they used their Ride Pagers to summon Charizard and flew off towards Akala. "Thank you Lady Cynthia. Welcome to Alola. mI'd be happy to escort you around the area," he responded. 'What are those two up to?' He had his suspicions on the two of them. Their names were Sun and Moon in English. Moon was easily distracted, smart and clutzy but resilient. While Sun was energetic and bright. So they could have been stalling for him so Cynthia and him could meet
As Cynthia and Xarn toured MeleMele Island, Moon was with Kiawe. He was her fire type mentor. Sol was with Lana doing some fishing. "So when Sol get's here we'll all eat?" "Yes. It's important to wait on your brother," Kiawe answered. She groaned. As much as she loved her twin brother she hated to wait. But as Kiawe and Luna got the fire ready to go, they all finally got back. "Luna! We're back!" "Hey Sol! Are Lillie and Gladion joining us tonight?" "Yeah we are," Gladion responded. "Hey Gladion!" "You look tired and excited. What happened?" "Our mentor may or may not be in love," Sol answered. "Xarn is actually in love?" "Yes. It's possible," she answered. "With who?" "Cynthia," Kiawe guessed. "Yes," Sol answered. "Well enough gossip more eating," Mallow declared.
Meanwhile Xarn was out with Cynthia at Mallow's restaurant and actually treating her to dinner. "So those kids. Who are they?" "Oh Sol and Luna are twins who lost their mom. She died in the ocean when coming back from Kanto. Ever since then I took them in. They've been my students for years and they're some of my best. I just want to keep an eye on them," he explained. "Do they live with you?" "No Sol and Luna live on Akala Island with their mentor Kiawe. He has the room for them. I don't," he answered. "How long until they have an adventure?" "Soon. Luna wants to go on her birthday. So does Sol. So Kiawe agreed to take them," he replied. "What about them living with you?" "They'll be stopping each day and at night resting at my place," he answered. "Well I'm sure they won't want you to go anywhere. They seem fond of you," she chuckled. "They are. I'm the first person they trusted," he chuckled. "That's so sweet," she fawned. "Yes. But they now have the Trial Captains. Some days they have separate homes. Sol lives with Lana or Kiawe while Luna lives with Ilima or Kiawe. They try to teach them some tricks," he replied. "Have you ever thought of leaving Alola?" "I have. I just don't want to leave Sol and Luna alone," he answered. "What if you didn't have to?"
"What if you didn't have to?" Xarn looked at her stunned. "What do you mean?" "Just that. What if you don't have to? What if you could take Sol and Luna with you?" "Then I'd do it. But I'd also find a way to keep them in Alola. Because the Trial Captains have become a part of their big family," he chuckled. Cynthia smiled and knew she had found a father inside him. She in truth was in love with Xarn. So she smiled softly. Meanwhile, the two of them were outside with Kiawe and Turtonator. Kiawe was having a campfire for them so they would go to bed easier. But Luna wasn't at the fire, she was over with the Mudbrays. Kiawe noticed she wasn't with Sol so he knew where she was. He walked over to the Mudbrays and put a hand on her shoulder. "You and those Mudbrays," he chuckled. "Well it's the first Pokémon Mr.Xarn showed me," she answered. Kiawe knew there was a reason she was over at the Mudbrays instead of the fire. "Luna are you afraid Xarn is going to just fly up and away and not tell you?" "Yeah a little," she confessed. He knew that Luna didn't want anyone to leave her again. "Luna he's a man who needs someone in his life. I promise you he'd leave but he'd never leave you alone," Kiawe assured. She nodded and he smiled and noticed the fire was dying down. "Let's go inside and give him a call. It's almost bedtime," he decided. She nodded and walked inside to the biggest surprise she could ever get.
When morning arose, Kiawe was making some fresh bread for the twins. It was just the thing to cheer them up since Xarn didn't come home last night. He actually on the phone call said he wouldn't be home. He was going to Sinnoh for a couple days. Xarn's POV In Sinnoh, there are so many new Pokémon that we've never encountered before. Cynthia even seems really happy I'm here. I don't want to leave here but Sol and Luna need me. They've looked up to me for a while. So I can't disappoint them. Otherwise, that leaves the Trial Captains with timid Luna and energetic Sol. It took me ages to get Luna to talk. Out of nowhere, I felt a kiss on the cheek and I was shocked to see that Cynthia actually had the guts to kiss me on the cheek. Not even Luna does that. She's too scared. I smiled and kissed her's back and I felt it. Love was blooming. I fell in love with the Sinnoh League Champion. But slowly, I noticed that there was a storm blooming. Where we were was famous for the storms so we went inside and her dragon Pokémon got a fire going for us. Which was nice but they really were up to something. They left us all alone. It was nice don't get me wrong. But I was thinking Cynthia's Pokémon wouldn't just leave the room. But I laid with Cynthia and she just cuddled up into me and I felt at peace. "I love you Xarn," Cynthia breathed in relief. "And I you, my queen," I answered as I kissed her. It was like fireworks. But I slowly fell asleep with the lovely Cynthia in my arms. In summary this day has been nothing but magical.
As another day passed in Paniola town, Luna kind of gave up on Xarn coming back. She was living with Kiawe and learning how to raise Pokémon. Kiawe knew she was losing all hope and that she wouldn't admit it. She quietly tended to the Mudbrays and said nothing. Not even when Sol came over. "She's really depressed huh?" "She misses Xarn. He did take you in. But I think it's also the fact she fears that when he does come back, he'll want to leave. She can't leave. So she's trapped," Lana added. "More than that, I think she views Xarn as a dad. So it's just like one parent moving away for the girl/guy and not coming back. I think that's what she's seeing," Kiawe explained. "I'm fine. He's happy," she lied. "You can tell us all that Luna but it's a lie and we all know it," Sophocles added. "Maybe go see Gladion after school and hang with him and Silvally," Kiawe offered. "Okay," she sighed and grabbed her bag. "See you after."
